a majority 49ers fans too.

If you take into account our recent history with the chiefs, why would you hope to face them?

I mean, does anyone think the dolphins and benglas wanted to face the old 49ers in the super bowl? "I hope we face joe montana and jerry rice in the super bowl." Nah, i don't think any fan of those teams ever said that. Same goes for the majority of 49er fans and i don't think there is anything wrong with that. I mean, your whole point is to win a super bowl. Give me the easiest route there.

Lol what? This is referencing people on social media saying they didn't want either of these teams in the super bowl - they wanted lions V Ravens

Is there anything to FieldGate or is it a big nothing?

Mike sliver had an inside report…basically saying the team was so pissed about it they almost didn't fly out. Roger then started a media buzz that it was fine and then everyone it's on the level of MetLife and the titans fields (which is in fact not true).

KC won't share their facilities, so they're basically stuck with what they got

I hope it motivates our team to beat the hell out of the chiefs.

Coyotes rarely attack, idk what that's about. Maybe it was a female that had pups, who knows. But weird though. If bitten, that person will have to get rabies vax.---- Henderson police say these kind of attacks only happen when they are not scared of people and this could be a result of people feeding the wild animals in recent past. Have no idea why people would feed wildlife, it's pretty lame.

There's one that I see all the time when walking my dog in the mornings. He keeps his distance but otherwise seems to give zero f**ks and always looks like he's 15 minutes late for something.

It's ok. Nobody believes in us. It's us against the world. When we win, it'll be the biggest upset in Super Bowl history which will make it all the sweeter.
Give me a break. The Niners are slight Vegas favorites.

The Patriots were 12.5 point favorites in 2007. The Niners were 18.5 point favorites in 1994 over the Chargers.

I get that a lot of analysts are picking the Chiefs, but good lord.

Why are you using the line as the only definition of an underdog? The overwhelming majority of the money has come in on KC money line - bettors aren't even taking the points.

And Vegas sets lines to encourage as much betting as possible that will in turn make them the winners.

Vegas is trying to offset all the $$ put down on the Niners between opening day and xmas.
I can't wait to see Kyle hug his dad after winning the super bowl and he starts crying.

The team that wins the Super Bowl is typically the team that is peaking at just the right time.

We haven't played a good game since before Christmas. On that basis, I can see why he picks KC.

Hope he's wrong.

Those graphs were not easy to understand. From inspecting the snapcount of the AFCCG, it appears that Leo Chenal is their third LB. So he's the guy on the field when KC is in base. When they are in nickel, Chenal comes off and Joshua Williams or Jaylen Watson (CB) comes on the field. If 49ers use 21, then Chenal would be on the field, unless KC wants to go light on run defense and use their nickel personnel.
From what I've read, KC is not shy about using dime to matchup against 11 personnel - this is light on run defense.

I just noticed that Chenal was in the game because Willie Gay was injured. The three LBs, when healthy, would be Gay, Tranquill, and Bolton.

They gave up 6.3 YPC vs 21 personnel through out the season.

We haven't played good 1st half of football the past two games. No one cares about a backup game vs the Rams.

I'm going with...the six game win streak Niners are gonna show up and roll the Chiefs. 38-20 Niners because im done being nervous and scared of the Chiefs. Destruction mode will be engaged
If we lose it may ruin Taylor Swift for me I probably won't be able to hear her again without being reminded of the L

That's insanely bad. And now they don't have Nnadi, their good run stopping DT.

The last time we've played a good game on both sides of the ball against at least a semi-decent opponent is probably the Eagles game.

That's ok, though. We'll turn it around for this game. "Against all odds" has been the team's mantra all season long. Nobody has believed in us all year, but we've been defying the odds the entire season.
