There is massive media bias against him. I can 100% see a position player getting MVP if the niners win. I put money on CMC at +450 for this very reason

When you talk about darkhorse MVP candidates, notice of the 64 individuals, 0 picked Aiyuk or Kittle. So they make good longshot MVP plays imo. What makes it tough for a WR or TE to win, is usually the QB throwing gets more credit.

So I have been around sports betting for a long time. I have never been a bookmaker but have been around a couple here in the 80's and 90's. I am not saying that the Chiefs will win, I am not even saying that I have a particularly good feeling that we will. I am the typical football fan I waiver between the defense may be good enough to the niners will win by 14. The thing I know is there used to be 100m bet on this SB. With the explosion of internet betting I imagine it is 4-5 times that. No way sports books expose themselves to a 100m loss. That is not their goal. They aren't the gamblers. They live in the vigorish. They may end up upside down a bit but they will come out on top no matter what. I love these reports about which way the money is bet, I would trust that information about as much as I trust our government. Casinos are not in the habit of issuing betting info. I imagine it is all conjecture and guesswork by people that have run out of s**t to talk about.

It's weird, I always feel better when the national media is picking against us. If they suddenly started giving the team a lot of love, I'm not sure I'd trust it. For me it's a better sign when they aren't in our side.
