MVP and Coach of the Year are both going to miss out on the Superbowl....

I will take the Superbowl instead.

Ya doubt they will call anything that's the problem

Until you actually start looking at statistics…like AT ALL. Detroits offense was A LOT better and Goff, frankly, was also better.

Mahomes just had a straight up Mediocre season. But go ahead, keep up the ball gargling.

Mahomes has been as good as he's ever been, he's unreal. Stats don't really inform, the eye test does. Sure his stats with Tyreek may have been more over the top. Does that mean Mahomes is playing at less of a level? No. Just means he's got less around him. To suggest Goff was better than Mahomes this year is just straight up nonsense I mean you would have to not be watching and just reading stats on stats.com to get to that conclusion, imo.

Yeah, stats are meaningless, you're right.

They were one of the most penalized last go round and that didn't work out so well.

Check it at the 11:35 mark of this video of Sherman interviewing Tig Brown. Sherman is talking about how the 2019 was a young team and how those youngsters are vets now. He alludes to some youngsters on that team saying, 'we went to Miami (site of 2019 SB), they did a little more than they probably should have" @12:30 mark.
Distractions in Vegas are real. This team needs to stay focused.

I've heard that their all-pro guard is most likely not playing, which would be big for us.

That's big if true. I read somewhere about a torn pectoral muscle or something like that. Health has been a big factor in *all* our five Superbowl wins, for sure.

9ers OL need to learn how to start early and hold. Why not?

If we're ahead, no need to hold. Just run block and road grade Chris JOnes with a double team of Banks/Kittle or Feliciano/Kittle

Spags is going to blitz, and I think if Purdy spots the blitz, I think he'll burn Spags, unlike Jimmy who couldn't read defenses very fast post snap.

The biggest thing is not to get crazy. Teams seem to go up against the Chiefs, psych themselves out and get away from what they're best at. The Ravens had the #1 rushing offense, the Chiefs have one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL and inexplicably Baltimore only ran it ten times.

While simultaneously watching Lamar go Lamar in the passing game during the playoffs. Not smart.
Thats a complete head scratcher did anyone bring that up in the post game presser?

Stats only describe *what happened* -- not what is going to happen.

Stats aren't meaningless, but if you are concluding that Goff > Mahomes this year from them, you are doing it wrong. When stats, go wrong..

Especially in that kind of weather. Their running back was averaging 6+ YPC. Lol I was confused why they did that.

Wow I didn't know the Chiefs had a bad run defense. Good to know. And didn't the Lions have a good run defense??

Lions has the #1 ranked run defense. And I believe 2nd ranked run offense.

We just need BP to be getting it out quick and on. And I think we can drop a 40 spot on KC. CMC could have a monster game.
