If the Chiefs ever need a great offensive coordinator I would love to have Kyle there.

Andy the choker for 20 years lol. Couldn't do it with any "avg" QBs. Needed to luck into a generational QB who makes his pay by running mostly off structure plays.

I was around for all of Reid, and he wasn't ever regarded as a choker from my view. Maybe getting clock mgmt wrong, and run pass splits wrong. I think choker fair or not more follows Kyle from the SB51 and 54 outcomes, and the NFCCG outcome up 10. The QB McNabb got some blame for choking, due to his rumored throwing up in the huddle.

He absolutely was looked at as a choker……and clock management and being perceived a choker go hand in hand

Yea. He did have some curious gametime decisions earlier in his career. But saying the 4th winningest coach in the NFL is a choker is taking that a little far.

That's a great question, reminds me of Brian Regan

You TOO lol I love Brian Regan, seen him three times live. Hilarious.

Maybe he was, I still think Kyle gets more of that rap, whether fair or not. Kyle had to start his intro press conference as HC talking about SB51, which I don't view as fair. It was an all time choke job but I never viewed it as on Kyle. I think clock mgmt is a challenge when you are both HC and calling plays on O. It can be a lot on one person. McNabb took more heat than Andy imo.

You'll notice I'm not talking about my opinion, more just the league perception. McNabb was labeled a choke artist far and wide. Reid never really wore that label perhaps in your mind, but not among the popular public narrative. No one went into SB 54 thinking SF would prevail cuz Reid is a choke artist or anything along those lines, that I recall.

you have no idea what youre talking about. most of my longest and closest friends are all die hard Eagles fans. Andy was a choker per them during that time.

But he wasn't at that time nor did he have a SB under his belt. He rewrote the narrative in KC

And a big reason why he was out in Philly, couldn't get them over the hump

Oh, and Eagle fans are the most level headed fans in the league..

If you go back to the SB, McNabb was branded the choker, a lot more than Andy. They say he threw up in the huddle, and was not well conditioned enough, to go no huddle. Owens called him out. That was the narrative. Papa Shanny actually bought into late career McNabb and he was known as fat McNabb. He had a bit of a gut. Papa Shanny is actually quoted on McNabb's fitness and not able to do the hurry up in WAS. McNabb was a really good QB early on, but his fitness does have a lot of questions over his playing career.
the narratives surrounding andy reid before he won a super bowl was always

-horrible clock management
-can't win the big one

Now you are moving goalposts trying to compare him to McNabb I get you like to be contrarian, but Andy Reid was absolutely viewed as a major choker all the way up until they beat the niners in 2019. This isn't debatable
The niners almost lost to love and Goff at home… Mahomes is gonna cook Sunday.

Yea, Reid with the Chiefs also lost a playoff game to the Colts where the Chiefs were up 38-10. He was absolutely seen as a choker.
