KC actually has a pretty cool culture in their city. I knew a lot of people in Dallas that were from there and they really couldn't wait to move back. Then again, Dallas has zero culture. All it's known for is chain restaurants and JFK getting murdered. Lol Fort Worth had a lot more culture, IMO. Nice people though, at least the native Texans.

Well the music scene is supposed to be decent in Dallas, but not like other places. I live in Fort Worth -- IDK if the culture is "more" or not though lol.

KC is in MO at least the football team and city proper. KC in KS is close enough I imagine it's the same grub.

Sweet BBQ is a waste of BBQ. Should have done something else with that protein.

Do you remember that '89 Super Bowl?

I can still remember watching it knowing without doubt the Niners were going to win, even when Cincy went ahead late in the game. There was absolutely ZERO doubt in my mind that we would win.
Not sure why, either just total confidence of that era, or Joe/Jerry, or maybe the ignorance of being a young fan but it was 💯 confidence even when it was in doubt.

I wish I could feel that same way now lol.

I feel like this years team could possibly be the greatest Niner team in my lifetime from top to bottom on all sides of the organization, but for whatever reason there's that doubt of what *could* happen.

So many players on this year's roster truly deserve a ring, I really hope they get it done, it feels like if it doesn't happen with this team, then it's gonna be a long time before they get this good of a chance again.

I don't remember that SB, I was too young. But I remember feeling the same way about '94. Once we beat DAL, it was only ceremonial.

Yeah in '94 the confidence against Dallas wasn't the same because it was Steve trying to get over the hump and having lost to Dallas the previous years in the NFCCG there was less confidence of getting to the Super Bowl, but once they beat Dallas, the whole world knew what was going to happen

Imagine, you get to watch Joe Montana and Jerry Rice just rail teams week in and week out, then halfway through the 3rd qtr you get to watch Steve Young in his prime come in and add even more points and highlight reel plays lol.

We were truly spoiled during that era.
