He's trying to get signed by the Niners in March….
Chris Jones isn't the type to gloat. That was Frank Clark. I despise that f'er

The media have the shortest memories imaginable. All of this bias is based off of the poor showing the Niners had on Xmas, which made everyone think the Ravens were the best. They weren't and KC proved that, so now they all think the Chiefs are the best. Media is nothing more than dogs watching squirrels man. Look at how the teams have played this season. Then look at each team's health situation. After the Super Bowl, the Niners will be the best, even in their eyes, and the good news is this conception gets to last until next season at least.
How do you stay so positive and erect? In my heart I know the Niners can win and win by 10+. But all the negativity and everything else makes me feel down about them
lol, I feel ya man. I'm trying to stick to Niner podcasts just so I can hear how dominant our team is and how we have a great chance of winning. Watching NFLN and ESPN is depressing. They can't stop gushing over Mahomes and Reid.

It would be a surprise if he doesn't play

Its Patrick Mahomes.
And its not even close.
Pat Mahomes has 52 and the next best is Tom Brady at 23.
So that is twice the number of overturned interceptions as the GOAT.
So, while there is not a conspiracy theory, it is clear that the referees do give Pat Mahomes as many chances as possible to win a game.
You know Tom Brady played before review was a thing

Balance!! Balance!! Balance!!! We need to keep it balanced, stay aggressive, we don't run for 5 a pop consistently, it's more like 2, 2, 3, 26 type thing. Can't fall behind the chains, we need to throw on early down on play action, boots, and quick game with high percentage throws to control the clock and open the big runs for CMC.
I worry that Kyle will be weird again and abandon the run like he did in our last Superbowl. Though I hope with CMC and a better Deebo that Kyle doesn't have to try and prove we need to throw, as this was the sentiment that year with JimmyG. Since we have a new sentiment, that being that Brock isnt a "game changer", I worry Kyle will try to force him to do more than we need and have done all season.
CMC is the key to this game if we get the Run game going the 49ers will control the tempo and the clock.

I usually have a feel for games, and I don't have much feel on this one. In terms of the outcome.
I get the KC appreciation, as I usually look to QB, HC, and D and KC scores pretty much off the charts in those areas.
If I had to venture, I would say it won't be crazy high scoring. Points will be more at a premium. KC doesn't have enough out wide to score like they used to, and both teams want to pound the football.
I think KC will make Brock have to execute at a high level and play fast for SF to win. Teams are starting to sit on the intermediate in breaking routes on 3rd and distance. Gonna be a really interesting tactics battle between Kyle and Spags.
Sounds like you're leaning Chiefs. The problem here is based on the eye test. We knew that Green Bay had to play a perfect game in order to beat us. And they almost did. We knew that Detroit had to play a perfect game in order to beat us. And they almost did.
Now the roles are reversed. Kansas City doesn't have to play a perfect game to beat us. Actually most pundits and fans agree that WE have to play a perfect game to beat them. And therein lies the problem. We may be the better team of paper, but the eye test tells us that Mahomes and Reid combo puts us at a disadvantage…
I think we can win ugly, as we have been. 2019 KC was probably a better team. That team had more a middle of the pack D, but still had C Jones and Spags. And Tyreek is a complete matchup nightmare. I think the KC lack of receiving weapons means SF has coverage wins when on D. This is a KC team that only scored 17 in the AFCCG, and that's not crazy unusual. They were middle of the pack in scoring this year on O.

In 2013, I thought we had a 70% chance to win, and a combo of weird play and ST was too much to overcome.
In 2019, I thought we had a 30% chance to win, and essentially played the script and were outplayed at the end.
This time, I feel like it's a coin flip. Both teams have multiple ways to win. I'd rather be down 4 w/ the ball to end as opposed to up 4 and Mahomes has the ball.

But Tom Brady only retired last year so both Tom Brady and Pat Mahomes have played each year that the review has been able to overturn interceptions.
So, the data sample is the same for both quarterbacks for such s lop sided result.

Because I can't find anything negative to focus on, except maybe the poor defensive showing the last 2 games that I believe will be corrected. Vegas favors the Niners for a reason, and I use that as reinforcement that I'm not seeing everything through my homer glasses. It's easy for most of the world to back the chefs because they have Mahomes, but he doesn't have the weapons he's accustomed to. I have the same feeling and level of confidence I did entering the 94 NFCCG, and I guess some of it is just that feeling. But I'm enjoying the hell out of this, knowing how it's going to turn out. Been a long time since I could feel this way.

I slightly tore my pec in the gym once benching 145 lbs. The doc said it wasn't a full tear. I remember my friends would flick my chest to mess with me and it hurt to holy hell
