Different looks and different plays to get 4-5 yards and maybe YAC if we break a tackle or two.

We drove by UNLV's practice field last night and there were puddles around the field. The rain was coming down and the conditions were closer to Week 1 @ Chicago type of sloppy where you take a step and water takes over your shoes. The Niners have every reason to be upset. https://t.co/fDTpyvMOSC

Another reason why the Niners need to keep pounding the ball in their run game is to wear out the Chiefs defensive line which has little depth. While Chris Jones, George Karlaftis, Derrick Nnadi and Mike Dana form a formidable D-line, if anyone one of them needs a breather, their is a huge drop-off in talent with the next man up, after Charles Omenihu got injured. If any one of them gets injured, especially Jones or Karlaftis, the Niners running game will be unstoppable.

It's wild how many things are inverted this time around. Even tho he shouldn't have because he was liability at times, Kwon Alexander played with a torn pectoral in the Superbowl in 2019.
It would be a surprise if he doesn't play
A torn pec seems like a huge injury for an OL. They put a ton of strain on their pecs almost every play.
You don't need a pec if you're just hugging and holding. If he was actually pushing away like most OLinmen it would probably be painful.

Starting to become a joke, I remember that being a big take away from last years SB. Players slipping and sliding all over the darn place, during the big game. That was in a dome. We play in ARZ all the time with no issue.

This blows. Timing won't be chrisp if we practice on that. Kyle should just say F it to Goodell and fly the team home and practice in Santa Clara. They have completed their media duty, focus on the game and return Saturday.

This is why I hope you get the prax in last week. I do wonder in a hypothetical, what would happen, if a team refused the media week and rolled in a day before the big game. Probably lose all your draft picks or something.

Yeah, I was talking to somebody, and they brought up the Eagles pass rush disappeared in the SB last year. I had to remind them that the field was complete s**tshow, and that the Eagles' best pass rusher, whose game is predicted on speed, was completely neutralized due to the field conditions.
NFL needs to pull their heads out of their asses.

If Chiefs load the box to prevent CMC from running wild, like Dallas did, the Niners need to implement play-action pass for Brock who'll torch them in the passing game. Niners need to take what the Chiefs give them. When Dallas found a way to contain CMC by loading the box--Brock torched them with 4 passing TDs. Niners need to utilize the play-action pass more frequently against the Chiefs, which they failed to do against the Lions. Brock is virtually unstoppable using play-action with a near 80% completion rate and 10.7 yards per attempt and close to 140 RTG during the regular season.
Another key to victory on offense I should add is how about the Niners running more draw plays which will compliment Purdy's highly successful play-action pass. That way running plays could be disguised as passing plays, and vice versa, passing plays could be designed as running plays, which will serve as a countermeasure if the Chiefs decide to load the box to stop CMC. And the Niners have the weapons to pull this off as CMC is an excellent dual purpose back and Deebo, like you mentioned, is an excellent dual-purpose receiver, while Purdy is a dual threat at QB as he can both pass and run the ball. Kyle needs to find ways to maximize the potential of all his dual-purpose weapons to keep the Chiefs defense honest.

Then there is a fatigue and jet lag disadvantage. May as well play through it. The top seed that won the most games gets the s*** field. Go figure!
