I was memorized by the realization that we have both Deebo and CMC. It is still unreal.

In the Webzone? Yes. I can hardly wait for the game to start so the regular boo birds come out to tell us what a failure Brock is, or how Kyle really isn't a good coach, or how the 49ers aren't that good, or one of a million things we hear from these accounts. Until the team begins to win, and in that case, the boo birds vanish.

My best guess is that Reid will try to sock it to the 49er defense early. Both the Packers and Lions pulled this off with great success. It was not successful in the long run, but did show a weakness. I expect that Reid will try to exploit that.

My greatest desire is that Brock does his best Brock and dominates like we know he can from the first snap till the last. A blowout? Fine by me.

No, bad practice field, fire alarms being pulled, no police escorts to practice. Just feels like there's some force in the universe that's against SF

You mean, "The Swifties" are real?

They're real, and they're a f**king bats**t crazy cult.
Quick comparison on both offenses scoring. Chiefs highest scoring game was 41 vs Bears, lowest 9 vs Broncos. Our highest was 45 vs Cardinals, lowest 19 vs Ravens. We also got 42 on Eagles and Cowboys. Regular season common opponents Eagles, they lost 21-17 we won 42-19. Jags, they won 17-9, we won 34-3. I have no damn clue why all these "experts" are picking Chiefs. I predict we come out firing on all cylinders, we win 38-20!
The greatest 49er team was probably the 89 team
49ers simplified keys to victory on offense: Use McCaffrey early and often to establish the run in order to open up the passing game and to keep the Chiefs offense off the field as long as possible. Also substitute Mitchell and Mason. Interestingly, when the Cowboys found a way to contain CMC, Mason churned out his best performance of the season. Mason averages 5.2 yards per carry and scored a TD every 13.3 carries and hasn't fumbled the ball a single time this season. By comparison, CMC averages 5.4 YPC and scores TD every 19.4 carries. So using Mason may not be a bad option. However, If Chiefs load the box to prevent CMC from running wild, like Dallas did, the Niners need to implement play-action pass for Brock who'll torch them in the passing game. Niners need to take what the Chiefs give them. When Dallas found a way to contain CMC by loading the box--Brock torched them with 4 passing TDs. Niners need to utilize the play-action pass more frequently against the Chiefs, which they failed to do against the Lions. Brock is virtually unstoppable using play-action with a near 80% completion rate and 10.7 yards per attempt and close to 140 RTG during the regular season. 49ers keys to victory on defense: Put a linebacker on Kelce near the line of scrimmage to bump-and-run him hard on every play, to keep him off-balance, then double team Kelce to neutralize him. Jerry Rice said to double him 100 percent. If refs don't call holding penalties against Chiefs O-line, 49ers coaches better call them out, for this could mean the difference between winning and losing, as it will neutralize the 49ers pass rush which is vital especially against Mahomes whom the Niners will have to put pressure on in the pocket and will help prevent Pacheco from running uncontested in the backfield. Of course, 49ers defensive linemen need to play to their full potential to make this work. Linebacker Warner must continue reading the offense and tackling opposing RBs from behind scrimmage. Niners cornerback Lenoir needs to be a shut-down corner like he was against Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Lions and do the same with Rashee Rice. While safety Gipson is doing well in the postseason, the safeties need to up their game and fly around the field like Hufanga did before he got injured to match the competitiveness of the Chiefs safeties, Reid, Conner, Edwards and Bush who are putting up sacks, TFLs, PDs and INTs, becoming the unsung heroes of the Chiefs' defense in the postseason. Bang! Bang! Niner Gang! Niners!!!

89, 94, 84, 88, 81 in that order
My thought on slowing Chris Jones is running 23 personnel from the gun and having a FB/TE/RB in the backfield after motions are done to provide support to our interior line.

This could be the next big adaptation for offenses, passing out of heavy personnel. If we consider Kyle to be at the cutting edge of offensive innovation, then we should have anticipated this coming when he drafted two TEs in the same draft.
For this game, I think it's critical that Juice stays on the field to provide the threat of both run and pass via personnel. Then use CMC/Deebo interchangeably on a down to down basis to keep KC's defense off balance.

That ringer article was pretty sweet. We need to invest in the next Juice

You also got Brian Griese as a QB on that team and now current 49ers QB coach. Anthony Lynn as a RB on that team and now current 49ers head coach.

Vegas refuses to move the line. Providing incentive for people to put money on KC.

Now why would they want more money on the Chiefs? Hmmmm

Because the game being on the west coast has more Niner money coming in. The objective for a casino is to win money. They don't give a crap about who's who. Just get enough money bet on BOTH TEAMS THAT HOWEVER THE GAME TURNS OUT, THEY WIN.

I don't think most people understand how Vegas makes money.

if a game is 50/50 odds Vegas sets it up like this.

bet on team A $10 wins $9
Bet on team B $10 wins $9

if team A wins, Vegas gets $10 from bet B and pays bet A $9 dollars. They guarantee 10% profit per bet and want lots of bets.

They don't gamble, the "juice" isn't 10% but yall get the point.

The problem is that 50% of the money isn't on each team. 70%+ is on the chiefs. Large discrepancy. So if the niners win, they keep all of that 70%+ and if they lose, they pay a majority of the betters winnings. That becomes more than their 10%.

the 10% stuff only works if the money is even, and it isn't. The line usually moves in a situation like this but right now they don't care, encouraging more people to bet on the chiefs.

I don't know the bet details so I believe you but I did read that Vegas doesn't want the 9ers to win because of all the in season bets for the 9ers to win the superbowl. They are trying to even the books out IMO with the actual game line, which is why the sharps are on the 9ers because I'm guessing the line does not equal the correct probability of win / loss

That I could believe. I was trying to find that information today but couldn't. I did come across that after week 10, chiefs got a lot to win the super bowl.

i can see the sports books trying to outweigh the season long bet on the niners, specifically the first half of the season.

eff gambling. Let's win this thing
