When it first started posting I thought it was a Chiefs fan posing as a niner fan.

Does Wilks blanket Ward on Rice like they do against Metcalf? Just lock him up. Hargrave and Young really need to show out up front and maybe even some 5 man fronts. Chase seems to do better lined up next to Bosa…We need the LB's to not run themselves into blocks and out of plays for the first half. Watch out for the screens and quick passes; make them pay with big hits. Hopefully they jump/pick some of those short throws. Go Niners!!!

Because the game being on the west coast has more Niner money coming in. The objective for a casino is to win money. They don't give a crap about who's who. Just get enough money bet on BOTH TEAMS THAT HOWEVER THE GAME TURNS OUT, THEY WIN.

I don't think most people understand how Vegas makes money.

if a game is 50/50 odds Vegas sets it up like this.

bet on team A $10 wins $9
Bet on team B $10 wins $9

if team A wins, Vegas gets $10 from bet B and pays bet A $9 dollars. They guarantee 10% profit per bet and want lots of bets.

They don't gamble, the "juice" isn't 10% but yall get the point.

The problem is that 50% of the money isn't on each team. 70%+ is on the chiefs. Large discrepancy. So if the niners win, they keep all of that 70%+ and if they lose, they pay a majority of the betters winnings. That becomes more than their 10%.

the 10% stuff only works if the money is even, and it isn't. The line usually moves in a situation like this but right now they don't care, encouraging more people to bet on the chiefs.

I don't know the bet details so I believe you but I did read that Vegas doesn't want the 9ers to win because of all the in season bets for the 9ers to win the superbowl. They are trying to even the books out IMO with the actual game line, which is why the sharps are on the 9ers because I'm guessing the line does not equal the correct probability of win / loss

That I could believe. I was trying to find that information today but couldn't. I did come across that after week 10, chiefs got a lot to win the super bowl.

i can see the sports books trying to outweigh the season long bet on the niners, specifically the first half of the season.

im happier now that I've convinced myself the 9ers probability of winning is higher than what it was posted as!

Pacheco is pretty good. But he's not Jones, Gibbs or Montgomery. I think they tighten up that defense just like the Dallas and Jags game. Kelcie has lost a step and isn't as dynamic as he once was either. Rice is really solid and is their main weapon in my opinion. I'm not underestimating KC w/Mahomes it's just a fact they don't have the team speed they once had. Toney might actually play in this game too.

Yes Chase needs to level the first WR that tries to block him. Pancake them to the ground.

Are the 49ers defensive line playing to pressure and contain rather than sacks? I seem to remember that the Patriots with Brady were not really a big sack team but always put pressure and containment up. When Bosa said earlier this year that they would rush as a unit. Maybe he was saying, forget about getting individual sacks, lets win the Super Bowl. Last season when they played the Raiders with Stidham, I think they got cocky and thought they could tee off on him. They almost lost that game. They have had to play a lot of mobile QBs maybe containment and pressure is the goal. The opposing teams tend to make mistakes in the 2nd half against the 49ers. The pressure sometime takes a while to pay off. You still need effort combined with doing your job. Hopefully all the attention on the defense will as Bill Romanowski would say, "light a blow torch under his ass".

I'm sick and tired of analysts/podcasters talking about the Chiefs defense like they're the 85 bears. It was impressive how well they played against the ravens. But let's not forget Lamar Jackson is a glorified rb and the ravens best offensive weapon would be a 3rd string wr on the 9ers. This isn't the first time the ravens s**t the bed in the playoffs at home. They do it almost every year since Jackson won his 1st mvp. When the 49ers beat the packers they were the hottest team in the league with the hottest qb. When the chiefs lost to the packers they were 5-6 and they ran for 140 yds without Aaron jones. Analysts/podcasters keep bringing up the fact the chiefs beat the ravens and the ravens beat the 9ers so that means kc is better than sf. What did the chiefs do the same day the 9ers committed 5 turnovers and still had a chance to make it a 7 point game? Oh yea, they lost to Aidan oconnel and Zamir white. Oconnel passed for 50 yards and Zamir white ran for 150$. And if we're gonna play the chiefs beat the ravens and the 49ers lost to them game then let's not forget the 49ers battered, abused, and basically robbed the eagles of their manhood and the chiefs lost to Philly at arrowhead.
