They're also down their all-pro LG with might be a torn pec. He missed that game. They were getting pressure up the middle.

I don't think anyone is saying the Chiefs are going to be a cakewalk. When we say we didn't come away particularly impressed with them yesterday, it's more of a statement against the chicken littles that are already saying we have no chance. We may lose, but we also have a very real shot at #6.

The difference is they played against the best D in the league not this terrible 49ers D.

And we moved the ball at will against that same defense but they made a couple nice plays with fortunate bounces. So? Using how a team performs against another opponent as a barometer for future failure/success has proven to be irrelevant time and again. It's a game of matchups. Any given Sunday.

Ravens offense was stagnant and didn't really challenge KC defense like it should have.
Ravens defense was left out there to die they did a good job as bad as the Ravens offense was. I was Surprised KC didn't score more on that tired D.

Now they face a niners team that will be absolutely out for blood against them for what happened 4 years ago and I dont see how they can be as motivated as this team is having won last year and in 2019. Kittle is going to be out there completely homicidal on every play. Mahomes is magical so you can never assume this game is in the bag at any point, but I'm pretty optimistic.

It's good for us. Vegas has been riding the 49ers all season but we have not covered a single spread in the playoffs. So people betting on the Lions and Packers have won the bet if they took the points.

I felt pretty good going into Super Bowl 54. Our defense was hell on wheels and I thought we could neutralize Kansas City enough and we could outscore them because their defense was pretty weak at the time. I also hadn't lost confidence in Jimmy G. This time, Mahommes is the made man, an even better QB than back then, but the supporting cast is far weaker at receiver. Running back is far better, but Kelce doesn't seem quite the same. Problem is their defense is lights out now. I do think their defense is a better matchup for us than Baltimore. It's going to be a serious chess match. We can win, but right now I'm not confident in Kyle/Wilks over Spagnuolo/Reid.

And the 49ers have an offense that can go toe to toe with Reid/Mahomes now. Deebo isn't a rookie, Aiyuk > ESanders, CMC > Mostert, and now there's Brock. If the 49ers need to win a shootout, they can play that game.

And no Tyreek Hill this time
