It's kind of laughable how many fans here are so confident in this matchup. The Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes, a good running game, and a secondary that's really good. Furthermore, they crushed the 49ers last season. This game is about as close to a pick'em as you can get.
Laughable that fans are confident in their team? Nah. Tell me, when exactly was it that Mahomes first cussed you to wet the bed? Do you think he's going to win every Super Bowl from now until the day he retires? At least those of us with confidence can make you laugh, because I feel nothing but pity for those of you who can't enjoy this time while it's here. I look forward not only to watching Brock hoist #6 for us, but also for the next decade, as Purdy battles it out with Pat, Burrow and Herbert. Sorry Jackson fans, you'll have to settle for regular season awards.
Even Brady has lost some. Mahomes lost 1 Super Bowl. So yeah it's possible. That was to Brady who is extraordinary. But it can be done.
Honestly, the biggest thing Brady brought to that game was equalized/favored hype for beneficial calls, and zero intimidation factor (it's f**king Brady). This is one of those examples of a s**t ton of other QBs could've won that Super Bowl for the Bucs (that people like to do with Purdy).
But that OL deficiency for KC was huge, and when things started to pile up, it got out of hand.
IMO had KC had a real OL in that game, not sure they win but they don't get blown out the same way.
Oh BTW, the Bucs in that postseason.........they won those 3 playoff games, but did anyone ever consider they should've lost the wildcard to the Redskins, divisional to the Saints they eked out, and the championship game the Packers could've won it??? NO IMPRESSIVE WINS IN ANY OF THEM, NOT ONE.
So the 2020 Bucs had a far less impressive season (regular & POST) than the 49ers....let it be known.
