does anyone have statistics on our o line pass pro? Specifically since week 11 and how it's done in the playoffs? It seems to have gotten better
The more telling DVOA numbers at least in terms of the game were the struggles KC has had with the zone run… which is our bread and butter. If we can be successful there we should be able to rip in the playaction pass game. Don't think we want to do to much drop back passing unless we have no choice.
I think we should have success offensively. I'm worried about our defense, but KC doesn't have the horses to run us out of the game early I don't think. We have more flexibility I think in this matchup than either of the first two playoff games.
How is KCs o line protection? We've played back 2 back teams with excellent running game and excellent pass pro (GB was great running down the stretch of the season - Aaron jones led the lead in rushing yards).
i think the o lines we've faced have caused us huge problems but I also think our d line has played sloppy. Even baldy said that he didn't think anyone on the d line played well against the lions - too high of a pad level a lot of the time.

I thought he didnt run enough in the first half of the GB game.
Just didn't have the ball enough on offense period. I went through the plays and to me there was legitimately only one spot I thought they could have ran the ball and didn't. It was a 1st and 15 on the first drive after Banks false start. We went incomplete, short/med pass gain, incomplete to end that series. We scored a TD on drive two and surrendered into the blocked field goal on a time crunched 3rd drive. Our defense just f**ked us even though they managed to hold the packers to FGs
Are you sure?
I seem to remember a handful of spread looks with no RB while Brock was struggling to throw that would have been prime for running.
Or Am I thinking of the 3rd qrtr?

will take a much better D effort. Can't keep getting behind.
Brock to play a clean game and not let the bright lights get to him.
But this biggest factor is can KS call a great game and not go into a shell abandoning the run, running goofball plays and for the love of God can he run CMC behind Trent? Not sure why that has stopped.
Haven't seen Reid calling offense, special teams trick plays in a while. Might want to watch out in the SB.
Good point.
I sure hope KS has been hiding a secret SB playsheet all year.
I thought the play calling in the last month has gotten a little vanilla.
He kept running CMC up the middle against the Lions when it looked like CMC could have more room towards the edge.
it was driving me nuts.
he killed it when running behind Trent.
No idea why they don't do that more.

As much as coming back from behind and winning is awesome. Can we just have a dominate game and win? We haven't had a dominate game since playing the cardinals.

I'm 100 percent sure. You're probably thinking 2nd half moreso. I didn't run through that in detail, like the first.

I hope our defense find themselves in the SB. It can really take the pressure off our offense, so they can just run the score up.

I have conducted some research and the referees that will be leading the Vinovich will be umpire Terry Killens, replay official Mike Chase, down judge Patrick Holt, line judge Mark Perlman, field judge Tom Hill, side judge Allen Baynes, and back judge Brad Freeman.
I believe Bill Vinovich still harbors hatred for the 49ers from the time he handed them a penalty and acted unfairly and dishonestly throughout the game. In 2019–2020, Bill Vinovich attended the 49ers vs. Chiefs game. I've discovered the reason behind Bill Vinovich's 49ers penalty: Klye Shanahan! I think I made sure he yelled at Bill Vinovich and complained. Following the events that resulted in our penalty and game loss! If Bill Vinovich punishes us unfairly, I fear that I won't be able to trust him. Regarding Bill Vinovich, we ought to inform Roger Goodell. For us, he ought to take down the Super Bowl titles!
Kyle Shanahan should keep his mouth shut. I told him not to yell at the officials and complain because they will penalize us and dislike us. Football rules, if he's clever. It is his responsibility to ensure that he abides by all football regulations. If he was unable to comprehend what had happened, he asked the referee questions. He'll grasp the concept of gain and continue to ponder how to win the game without assistance.

The Niners are a comeback team. It seems a 3 score lead is never safe with them.

Funny - the criticism has always been that KS doesn't work the refs enough.

The DLine is baffling to me. Besides Young, we've seen Bosa set the edge and play better run D than this. We know what AA is capable of. We know what Hargrave can do. Surprisingly Kinlaw has showed some better flashes than some of those guys. Can't they all sit Wilks down and say "This is what we need to do. This is what worked in the past."

let's hope Kyle doesnt do the same.
well i dont want kyle running cmc into a wall every time just for the hell of it, if we gotta pass to set up the run then that's what we'll do, it has worked all season
this
our offense is at its best when we pas to set up the run
i was f'n losing my mind every time we ran cmc for no gain vs detroit

they just felt off all season
maybe they figured out their run defense issues in the 2nd half of last game
