At what moment you thought it was over?

I figured over at the half, but hoped for a miracle. I say that because we've never had to come back from a deficit like that on offense, and even then the defense was so bad at stopping the run I figured aside a miracle, no way. Well it happened lol I thought getting points on the first drive in the 3rd was big. Then I am thinking geeze, will they have another 7 minute drive on us?? I dont understand this defense. Like two different teams each half.

Bunch of liars in here. For me it was the 3rd and 12 Gibbs run. It was to reminiscent of the trap run to Mostert vs the Packers where Kyle knew they couldn't stop the run. I thought Johnson was gonna bully us like that.

So, yeah, I totally walked away at the half for a while cause I was getting heat and decided to get out of the kitchen haha. Came back to the game I think, 10 mins left in the 3rd (I know I am a horrible fan lol) and was just watching with a buddy after leaving the sports book. But my buddy wanted to yap about Japanese culture and like that is cool and everything but maybe stfu right now haha.

It was an amazing comeback but lol I am dumping my buddy next time haha

Never. I tnought we would come out of halftime with a score and get back in the game.

Exact same.play for me too. When they couldn't stop a run play on 3rd and 12.

Already down 21-7 and they gave up that run on 3rd and long? I was like f**k it at that point. Didn't stop watching, but I just slumped on the couch in shock. Then it was like, "we just need this [big play] to happen", then it happens. Next thing I know we're tied lol

I was preparing my eight year old son for a loss at halftime. He tells me Dad it's not over you thought the same thing last week. I'm like man I wish I thought like that.

Yeah that was a gut punch for sure.

I thought the game was over after halftime when we only got 3 points and the lions started a good next drive.

I just thought they would run every play and we showed no signs of being able to stop it.

If DET went for it before half time and scored a TD I would probably have lost my faith in a comeback

However...the game was still at the extreme edge of a comeback and I knew about the kezar game where SF led 24-7 and lost

So I knew we had a "saying there's a chance" glimmer of hop depending how the first few drives of 2nd half unfolded.

The 2nd half unfolded almost perfectly and I had faith the entire 2nd half we would win

Only you fake ass fans who dont think realistically and jump to conclusions thought it was over. Yall should even bother watching the SB.

But the 49ers did not appear to be losing the 1v1 player matchups. They were making stops, but would get caught up in design, then speed killed it.
Yardage like -1, 0, 13. 0,-5, 16. 1, 0, 9. -4, -1, 18 is not sustainable. The adjustment WILL be made by either the offense or defense.
