I'm going to miss him.
Non hardcore fans are really clueless at times at the stuff they say.....
They have NO idea how hardcore fans can be.
Hardcore fans are those that go crazy about their team, not going bareshirt in the stadium in 30 degree weather.

In a bunker with a steel helmet on, surrounded by sandbags.
Under the bed with my hands covering my eyes.
Yes, I'm the anxious type.

My mom was visiting my wife and I during the time period the Packers game was going on. Of course during the game I'm a f**king internal mess, Jupiter's giant storm just churning in my gut. Sometime in the 4th quarters she chimes in, "You ever think of giving football up. It's clearly not healthy for you." I wanted to throw her through the TV, but that would have just proved her point, so I just internalized the rage and added it into my knot of stress.

For the 49ers last 2 SB games I drove from SO Cal up to the Bay Area to watch with many friends. I am changing that up and staying home and watching it alone or with my wife. What I should do is just record the game and watch it later if they win. If they lose, never watch the game. But, I cant do it.

At home with only my immediate family
As a fan since the 80s, having our team in the SB doesn't come along that often (especially not since 1995) so I'm going to intensely watch. I don't want casual fans or non football people asking dumb questions or making dumb comments.

Oooh Lake Tahoe would be nice, but it's been stormy and hate the snow, wouldn't wanna deal with it lol. But South Lake would definitely be a great spot to catch the game!

I cannot watch it with another person, let alone a fan of the rival team.

1230am start in Amsterdam. Going to be decked out and loud. My Dutch neighbors won't know what hit them (literally I somehow get enjoyment slamming the wall good or bad). Probably have video link up with my bro and friends stateside

during the last SB i was pretty rude to my mother in law as she was talking and asking questions during the game. Plenty of other times i've been a rude prick to people while watching just regular season games, but that last SB stuck with me how I acted.
One part of me says that football is, to me, what a favorite soap opera or netlix series is to a non-fan. I dont go and make noise, ask questions and make irritating comments if im with you while you're watching game of thrones.
But the other part of me says that i'd have a lot more fun and a lot less stress if i learned to manage the stress of it, bite my tongue if need be and enjoy the social aspect of it....make it something that people like to enjoy with me, not something that they cant be around me because of.
I love to have some beers and party with people- but i dont want to become an a-hole when i do drink and end up partying alone.
Thats why i rented the theater this year- we can have a social gathering but its dark enough, big enough screen, loud enough, and the seats are separated enough and focused to the big screen to let everyone know what we're focusing on. We'll see how it goes.
