No way in hell could I watch a game this important with a fan of the other team.

I cannot watch it with another person, let alone a fan of the rival team.

yeah.....that's a recipe for disaster (I know from experience).....good luck!

Apparently you've never watched a big Niners game with people who either don't care or are silently/out loudly rooting for the other team?

I guess it depends where you live. If you live in the Bay Area In sure it's easier to go out to the local bars or find friends to sit with at home and enjoy the games since the majority of ppl are Niner fans.

But yea someone like me that lives in NY. You don't easily find a combo of friends+49er fan. Most ppl that you watch games with are casual fans that don't give a s**t and would rather spend the time talking about themselves or politics or work. Or worse fans of other teams that just root for the other team to go against you.

So I prefer to watch solo

Last 9er superbowl my have had friends over and one chick was loudly acting a fool all game rooting for the Ravens.

It was an epic disaster.

Never again.

Only me, my wife, kids and dog are allowed in my house during big games.
I don't mind watching a meaningless game at a sports bar or at a large party. For big games I prefer solo or maybe one or two friends. I like to her and see the game and not be distracted.

Because the Super Bowl is amateur night. Also, I'm recovering from donating a kidney so I'm not very pleasant to be around.

That's right. Games like this I only watch with close family members, 49ers fans and likely a very small group. Last thing you want is a big group. People walking around in front of the TV. Crunching on snacks. Cheering for the other team. Talking more about the commercials than the game. It throws the Super Bowl vibe off completely.
I'm watching at boxpark Wembley in London. Going on my own due to work commitments the next day.
Any UK fans going to Wembley boxpark holla at your boy!
