Any one of those things is "fixed" the 49ers win yesterday. s**t happens.

Run the ball more with CMC In the 3rd Q and we most likely win too.

He was getting stuffed on the regular. 3 yards per carry.

blitzing and how to play it is more on the QB then on anything else. That's how KC gets their pressure and has for years.

one thing that no one talks about is how SF is constantly losing good coaches. That s**t hurts on multiple levels. You know who doesn't lose coaches for some f**king reason? The chiefs.

Spags been rolling that defense out for years. He's finally got everyone on the same page and the personnel he wants. In order to blitz like that you need the coverage. You need everyone on the same page. You can add wrinkles to it because you have the confidence that the guys will be where they need to be because they've been running it forever….its no different then BB in NE.
But they are normally not THAT free to the QB.

Hey man I'm with ya there. I was screaming to run the damn ball.

Spags was dictating what kyle was gonna run, when it should have been the other way. I don't care if they got 10 dudes in the box…f**king run it. 3 yards is better than an incompletion. Everything was so compact for them too. We didn't space them out and force them to react. When we did we often had success. Those outside pitches seems to be working just fine.

id love for Kyle to explain wtf that was all about. He's so damn smart defensively that it sometimes f**ks him…he knows the "rules" but who gives a s**t about those defensive rules when they're not really abiding by them.

This team is old and extremely injury prone. Don't think its as simple as just upgrading from McKivitz and RG.
Sacrifice a goat to lift the curse.

it's a miracle they are where they are despite this idiotic and usually franchise killing move.

We need a REALLY good draft, some key FA pickups, and what do we do with Wilks?

Fair assessment and really worth getting in to.

IMIO, the Chiefs secondary won the game for them

Very few YAC in this game which usually sets up our scoring.

makes it even worse as Purdys strength is supposed to be quick processing and doing well against the blitz.

Chris Jones came unblocked, dude. literally untouched. purdy had the ball out to the correct read. but the throw as affected by the rush. I'm not sure what more you want. no QB makes that

CMC wasn't getting a lot of yards yesterday. The defense the Chiefs were playing may have been the reason for going more to the pass. Before the game Kyle said he wanted 30 runs. They had 28 in regulation so not far off.

I don't think there''s a lot to fix. Do they need to upgrade the O line? Sure. Nearly every team does. The problem isn't the Niners. It's the Chiefs. This is how teams viewed the Niners in the 80s. How do we beat Bill Walsh, Montana and Rice.

Sure they are. Specially when you put a RB out instead of calling him back in to pickup the blitz. That's on the QB man. He's young and f**ked up a couple times. Kyle gives Brock two plays and within those plays there's answers for things like a blitz. He's gotta be more consistent there and that's something that improved with time.

also I'm not saying don't try to upgrade the OL. The right side is underwhelming with Colton and Burford, I think Feliciano is actually pretty solid RG, not sure how long he was out last night. I hate playing two RGs every game.

Because there was a blitz man. The QB HAS to recognize that. Stop playing empty and get someone like Juice/CMC to pick up the blitz. OR hand the ball to CMC right there…he's got one guy to beat there and it's a walk in TD.

that play is on the QB. s**t call a TO if you're not 100% with the play call and what you're seeing
Chiefs players said they wanted Brock to throw the ball. Get heavy vs the run and blitz the snot out of Brock. That's what they did all second half.

Brock had opportunities to win it and take advantage of that aggressive approach. Unfortunately he couldn't do it this time.

YAC is hard to come by against an elite defense.

Its good in the regular season against average defenses. This is why we are a good team, just not a great team
