Switching defensive coordinators every year isn't helpful, and the player love Wilkes. Kyle needs to manage Wilkes though, and tell him exactly what he expects.
They love Wilks? They dont play for him. Let's start with the NFCCG.

The DB play has gotten better as well. I prefer him not play soft zone, more man. I little more aggressive, know when to blitz.

Did Moody miss the FG or was it blocked? How is that on Moody? Fumbles happen; CMC has been running many times and some very hard runs this season and I don't fault him for that one.
Now the muffed kickoff...yeah, bonehead play of the game. The KC coverage was already there, McCleod should have just pounced on the ball and covered it. Pick it up and run where? maybe 2-5 yards? That alone cost the game. ST has been less than consistent or good this year and needs new coaching, apparently.
He kicked it low, off his ankle. The FG were clutch though.

I wish we could finally get a good ST coordinator.

Also this is more high level, but I feel like we've lost that physicality edge in the trenches. Need to bring in new bodies and attitude to rejuvenate them there.

Draft RT, RG, NT, LB, SS
I would resign Aiyuk and Gregory
Find a better ST coach
Add an experienced ex coach guru to sit in the box and give Kyle an extra set of eyes and someone to talk to.

We had that back in the day with the likes of Justin Smith, Ice, RayMac, Bowman, Willis, Hitner, Iupati, AD, etc..
We still got Shannied.

The weird thing is, Brian Schneider was considered one of the better ST coaches in the league. Something not right though.
An assistant head coach is a very interesting idea, Kyle would never go for it though.

Ranked 26th for the year. Same as the previous ST coordinator. I think this is Kyle's conservative nature. "Just don't cost us a game" vs. using our ST weapons to change a game. As we saw with Wilks, Kyle controls the philosophy.

What won the game for KC? Their DL did not wear down at the end. That was really the difference. I would think the focus in the offseason will be the OL and DL. I think Burford and McKivitiz are just ok. Feliciano's injury might have been the difference at the end when we had to go FG.

they finally have a QB. build around him and start adding pieces to protect him. Get players who can make plays.

Get rid of Mckrapitz and buttfart. That's how. Both are bottom of the barrel backups and we need legit starters to make another superbowl run.
Tell Kyle to get off his high horse. Get an OC.
Tell Kyle do something in all 4 quarters.
Tell John Lynch to draft OL, OL/CB, LB, OL, CB/LB. Or for that matter draft studs.
A real ST coach and Sp Teams.
I feel confused. Not angry, not sad, not depressed. Just confused. I think we have a lot of what we need to win, but we keep shooting ourselves in the foot. Seriously, things didn't go right at all. Muffed punt friggin kyle willliams-esck, blocked PAT, 2nd and 4, not running in the 3rd, etc. In hindsight it doesn't seem like much, but it probably is...
In 30 years of life, I have seen 1 SB. 1994. Then nothing but pain and anguish since. I swear since 2011 we can't get out of our own way.
