How do we fix this?

Instead let's roll with jimmy g! yeah!

Would never have worked.

Brady would never work with an egomaniac like Kyle. And I don't care what anyone says in public interviews

The worst part of this new SB loss is that this can't be fixed.

We have the most talented roster of the league already. We traded for CMC. We signed Hargrave. We traded for Gregory and Young during the season because Drake Jackson was a disappoinment. The cheapest QB of the league was MVP-candidate. We had 4 players on offense over 1000 yards. We had the most expensive D-line of the league.

Do we have some holes on the team?.....sure, in this salary cap era there aren't perfect rosters but with our current roster we should be able to win the Super Bowl but we just lost a Super Bowl that we should have won.....again.

What happened then?

1-Shanahan can't call plays in the biggest moments of his career as we have seen over and over.
2-Some key and expensive players made big mistakes (CMC's fumble, Williams back to back penalties, Bosa not setting the edge on 4th & 1).
3-Other key and expensive players just dissapeared (Kittle + Deebo: 5 recs, 37 yards)
3-The players didn't even know the overtime rules.

That tells me that the problem with the team can't be fixed because it isn't about lack of talent. The real problem is that the coach and this core of players aren't natural winners and they'll keep losing the big game again and again.

We know Jed won't get rid of Shanahan and this core of players still has 2 or 3 more years and that means that the 49ers will be high-level losers for a while.

#2/3 is a big deal. Stars need to be stars on the biggest stage. You know like Kelce and Mahomes. Think about where we were last year at this time. We didn't know if we had a qb, good news we do. Add some OL/DL in the off season and I don't see how the Niners don't make it back. Now getting over Shannan play calling shenanigans is the bigger issue. Get his dad on staff to control his trying to over think a$$.

If he could work with a guy like Belichick for 20 years, he can work with ANYBODY.

It's fixed when Mahomes retires. Until then it's going to be a long road. The rest of the NFL is finished for 10+ years.
Nah 49ers had em both times and couldn't get out of their own way one way or another along with some shady officiating Mahomes wasn't the deciding factor.

If Brady had come here in 2020 he could not have dragged that 49IR team to the playoffs. Bosa tearing his ACL ended that season in Week 2.

Brady worked with Josh and probably dictated a lot of things on offense. That's really not how it works around here. I really doubt young guys like Purdy have any say in the offense. They probably just say "Yes sir, Mr. Kyle, I will do what you want". Not surprised that Brady and Kyle got into an argument according to that one rumor

So tired of the no calls whining.

You give these guys 1 year, and they deliver or we make wholesale changes. Key element is they have to believe it's the final ride. That provides added incentive and motivation.

That s**t aint happening my man.

Yeah the revenge tour is all b******t. Fred Warner also is soft in these big games. Maybe they neeed someone else to fire up the squad…

Maybe not but he probably would have won a Super Bowl by now regardless.

That's a good point. Bucs worked with him so that he could incorporate plays that he liked. It worked for them.

Having said that, I do believe it's been known that his hometown team was his number 1 choice. Then it got out that he was upset they didn't want to roll with him."They chose that bleep over me!"
Fire a guy who can't win the big one with the best roster in the league by far and away

And replace him with who?

Who's out there that can take over, especially this late after the season is over?

And no, Belichick isn't an option because he's going to want front office control, which means you're doing a full on rebuild.

I'd fire him next year because we won't win the SB either (we lost our chance now) and I'd get Ben Johnson.
