there's nothing to fix. Just need the luck to turn, but I'm starting to think Eddie D made a deal with the devil to get those 5 SB's similar to the Fall of House Usher plot. Now the niners are paying for it with the absolutely worst luck. If Dre doesn't go down or if 5 of the 7 total fumbles are recovered by KC instead of 6 then the 49ers win.

Or if Kyle Shanahan calls a sound game using the best RB in the game to his advantage. Or if Kyle Shanahan tries to finish the game in regulation instead of assuming his defense could stop the Michael Jordan of football at the end.
Common denominator in both SB losses: Kyle Shanahan

lol, these guys here just like to moan! Trust me, I have great respect for any Bills fans who stuck with the team during the Marv Levy era. I mean, it was a really good team, but I don't know how the fans stayed with them. Welcome, by the way.

OLine, DB, LB. I put linebacker before DL due to Dre's injury until he can get back healthy.

Not quite different from what you guys are doing. Those guys survived 4 SB losses. We just survived 2 SB losses and 2 NFCC games. And there's no reason to believe that next year that Kyle will have adapted and will come up with something different.
I think all NFL fans should respect both the fans of Buffalo and San Fran. We're practically mirror images of what EPIC FAILURE epitomizes in this league…

We are to the SB what the Cowboys are to the first round of the playoffs. Both 5-3 in the big one, sad actually.

We are in a totally different situation. We aren't really the same team/organization that won 5 super bowls in the 80's & 90's.
Different owners, different city, same helmet.
Buffalo lost 4 in a row! All with the same team: players, owners, and fans! Same home stadium, in the same city.
Most of the 49ers fans from the 80's/90's would prefer the Eddie D version over the Denise & Jed version of the 49ers.

EddieD practically forced Walsh into retirement. That's what commitment to winning meant to him. What do you think his response to Kyle and the way we've lost these past 4/5 years would be ?
Definitely not the way a lot of fans on this site think of Kyle and his "success", that's for sure…

I guess you enjoy watching them lose. To each his own.
