How do we fix this?

There are always things to improve on...it's no secret they need to upgrade the OL, particularly from C to RT. Would like to see Lynch grab some top OL early...similarly, they need help at CB. Ward's going into his 3rd yr and keeping him would arguably become easier having a stud opposite him. They can't wait 'til the later rds to get those 2 things done. Pay Aiyuk...he's much too good not to. Find a way to keep Jennings. Get a true playmaking TE who can block opposite Kittle. Get a stud pass rusher opposite Bosa. Not sure Chase Young's that guy, so either go get Brian Burns or take a chance they can find one in the draft. Improve ST coverage...if Ronnie Bell's going to be the primary returner, coach him up to be that guy. Hire a top candidate from within the team to be the new DC. My choice would be Johnny Holland. Yes, it'd be nice to hire
Vrable, but I see him sitting out the 2024 season then getting a HC job when the season's over. Holland's been a Niner coach since 2017...time he was promoted.

sign a decent CB in FA to play opposite Ward.
Extend Aiyuk.
Find a way to keep Jennings and Ray Ray.
Chase Young might be cheap bc he sucked. Get him a real DC and maybe we get better output from him.
