How do we fix this?

Draft that center in round 1. Probably instant upgrade.

Then probably a Lb in 2nd -4th to try to fill in for Greenlaw. (Speed and violence a must)

edge and run stuffing dt as well. (lol)

then I would draft 2-4 tackles rounds 2-5 as well. The more the merrier. 1 of them will pan out better than mckivitz - we hope.

safeties. Te. Wr.

we need all those picks and they need to have a good draft. Last draft was bad.
Some of these players should negotiate their contracts after yesterday performance. Ain't no way players like deebo and kittle should be getting paid like top stars and not show up for the big game.

Egos will not allow that to happen.

They are still viewed as stars in the league. Trade them while other teams still see them as such. Let them be no shows in big games on other people's rosters.

It sucks, I love Kittle, but you can't no show in the biggest game of your life. Kelsey didn't.

It hurts to say, but I think we trade Kittle, Deebo, let our safety walk, let most of the Dline walk, find a new DC. Someone more aggressive.

Start from there. I think Lynch will also need to address play calling with Kyle. He may be brilliant, but he gets stuck in ruts and hurts the team at times.

Why in the world would you trade Kittle/Deebo? They save next to no money doing that.

the only guys that are walking on the DL are the guys that we traded for and maybe Kin. They will add there because they always do.

my god you sound like this team is about to go into rebuild mode. They got a QB still on his rookie deal. You're not replacing Deebo with anyone else like him. Same with Kittle, those are unicorns.

Wilks doesn't deserve to be fired. My god they held KC to 3 freaking pts at halftime. Kyle doesn't take orders from lynch man lol.

What happened after HT.....
Wilks goes back in to his soft coverages leaving huge space over the middle. We basically held Mahomes hand and walked him down the field.

There was little resistance on the final drive of the 4th qtr and OT.

The drive by KC to tied was a foregone conclusion. Wilks was so scared to give up the big play.

Should've drafted mahomes. The only way the nfl will let you win Lombardis is to have their poster child on your team.
Trade whoever and whatever PICKS to get Khalil Mack or Joey Bosa!!!!!

Only problem about going through the draft is we dont have the time to develop them. We need instant starters, which means trading picks for veterans.

I would think about trading Deebo. He makes 20 mil per year, and for that we could retain Jennings + get help on the line.

It really doesn't make sense to have so many highly paid skill position players then be weak on your line.

This isn't to be critical of Deebo, it's just about team economics. Deebo is kind of a gadget player. Jennings is a more traditional WR, and has made many clutch acrobatic catches, and is also a good blocker. The Deebo run thing isn't working like it used to.

Or if you don't stand in front of punts...

I would seriously think about trading Deebo. He makes 20 mil per year, and for that we could retain Jennings + get help on the line.

Love the kid but he's on and off. Aiyuk has been more of a star lately.

Yep, Wilks needs to go. We need someone more aggressive. It was almost as if Wilks was intentionally sabotaging the D in the second half. So much so Kyle has to use a time out to tell Wilks to fix the soft D calls. Ridiculous.

Lmao! All of the NFL apologists and defenders on this website are going to keep going with that one.
Instead of continuing to drink the Kool-Aid, try the Bosa was held almost every single pass play throughout the game seltzer🤣🤣🤣

We have 2 glaring weaknesses and this helps neither.
Get an an actual offensive coordinator. Someone who understands Shanahan's offense and know what to call and when especially in critical moments. Too often in big games it just seems like this team gets out coached more than anything else.

I'm 50/50 regarding Wilkes. He really improved and honestly the defense played well for the most part yesterday so I can't really hate on the guy. Unless there is an obvious clear cut upgrade out there…I'm not sure SF cans him.

Upgrade OL. I don't care how they do it but they have to do it. Center, RG, RT, depth, etc.

Someone mentioned Greenlaw probably not being the same after this injury and that may be the case so probably a new LB…?

Probably don't have the cap room to do it but an elite safety or an another playmaker in the secondary would be nice. I don't know…there's just something missing on defense.
