I don't think you will ever see a ring under Kyle. If your ok with that then stay, if not, time to find something else.

Reid and Mahomes are smoking the whole league not just Shanahan and the Niners. We're as close as anybody and someone will take them down eventually.

Much as losing it hurts, it's certainly no disgrace losing to the Chiefs. They have the no. 1 HC and no. 1 QB in the league. Many wrote them off earlier in the season, but when their games counted the most, they were ready to defend their championship. The Niners are already being looked at as a SB team again, as it should be. Most of us realize they'll have to improve the OL and CB positions, get real bookends for Kittle and Bosa teams will fear, get better on ST's, etc. I've personally been a Niner diehard since 1957...yep, that's a long time ago when they played in Kezar Stadium. They are my team and I love them, win or lose. Winning's a lot more fun and I firmly believe they will win another championship sooner rather than later.
Yep. We will get there.

Not sure how you conclude this about Shanahan. So, question for you. How old was Andy Reid when he first won a Super Bowl? And how old is Shanahan?
And if you have written off Shanahan, why are you still here?

Its his opinion.
Andy Reid is one example in Shanny's favor but there are way more losing super bowl coaches that never got it done. Plus, Andy Reid happened to draft one of the GOATS, a guy which Shanny passed on and had a chance to get in a year we had no QB
You don't have to be in love with Shanahan to root for the team. Questioning leadership is a healthy discussion. That is what this discussion board is for.

You want to wait as long with Kyle Shanahan for a championship ? Andy won his first in his 20th season as head coach. On his second team. His first team won a SB in less than 5 years after they fired him.

If I recall this is Kyle's first crack at head coach. Give the give time to jump that final hurdle. He's shown he can at least get there and he's oh so close

Amen. Ppl like the Reid, Shanny comp, yet realize Andy didn't win the SB in Philly. He had to get fired, learn that lesson and refocus in a new town. So maybe the same for Kyle. Lot of scar tissue in SF with big loss after loss that builds up in all our guys. Dungy is a HOF coach but couldn't get it over the line with Tampa they fired him and traded for a coach and got a ring.

You're making it seem like getting fired was the lesson they needed... but in reality it was getting Mahomes and Peyton Manning that put them over the top.

Tampa didn't win the either, they won with Brad Johnson. That doesn't happen without Dungy being fired. Dungy was challenged on O if one goes back to that era. So that was a HOF coach fired, and it was the right move, it got Tampa what they needed at the time, and a ring.
