Thats the worst feeling in sports for a fan.
It's a fleeting gut punch for me.
Much worse feelings 03-10 and 14-17.
Everybody's different I guess.

We were one play from winning the Superbowl.
And then the next season to fall away so dramatically and not even be competitive.
Thats a double gut punch.

I just get more numb to the team each and every year. Won't stop rooting for their success, but when they fail I will exert less effort since that is expected these days. I will just shrug my shoulders and move on with my life and maybe I will be surprised the next year.

As a fan, it's just for entertainment since we have no say in the decisions. Now if I was Kyle, I would probably quit since his decisions cost this team.

Won't ever quit the 49ers, I've learned to not let a loss or a win effect my personal life, or my mental health, not worth it, it's just a game, I used to be nuts, crazy at times, yelling, the whole 9 yards, not anymore, it is what it is, same goes for my Rockets, NY Rangers, NY Yankees, & Notre Dame, as crushing as it was to lose the National Championship game, it's still a huge accomplishment to get by Georgia, Indiana, & Penn State to get there.
Will I ever stop watching? Hell no, I'll always watch, root, might yell a tiny bit, not like I used to, keep doing my site, the cap stuff, but won't let a loss get to me like I used to, last season(2023) I was on edge, nerves all year long, the SB loss was devastating, same when we lost with Harbaugh as HC, but it is what it is, do I think we got robbed, sure I do, no holding calls on the KC OL pure BS, but it is what it is, they're gonna win again cause Goodell wants a three peat so badly, and the whole Taylor Swift s**t, I like her, respect her, agree with her political views, but I don't watch a football game to see her & Caitlyn Clark sitting there doing high fives to each other, I watch football to see football, not a celebrity, I guess that's what pissed me off so much about last season, like the NFL wants that publicity, just annoying, need to stop being greedy too, I legit hate the NFL, Goodell, etc... But what can I say I love my team, but again don't let it get to me personally..

Goodell is the Vince McMahon of the NFL. Should put things in perspective in terms of the lengths he'll go just to churn a profit…
