Nothing but losing. What's the point? It messes with my mental health and makes me unproductive at work and I neglect other areas of my life during football season.
I don't know what it's like to be a winner. You older folks should appreciate your memories because some of us don't have those.
I'm 77 and had season tickets during those dynasty years. We gave up the seats in 2003. I told my buddy that we've seen the best this team will ever be. I believed that then and I still believe it. Those long sustained runs of excellence are much harder to attain than they were. NE had a unique situation where they played in a terrible division during their 20 year run. The Chiefs are in the middle of great run but I don't see it lasting 15 years.

It kills me inside and it'll take a few days to get over but f**k it. What are you gonna do? It's just a game at the end of the day. There's always next year…

Don't quit, just refocus how you view sports in general.
The truth is that winning the championship is overrated. It's cool for a day or two, and then immediately your mind goes back to the drawing board and you're like, "okay, free agency is only a month away. What's next? Who are they getting in the draft?" Truthfully, winning or losing has pretty much no material effect on your life.

It's definitely our identity at this point.
It'll stay that way until we win one.

True, but still sucks a$$. Much rather them have number 6. Three losses by a once proud franchise licks balls.

At least they got there and have been contenders every year. It's unfortunate that the Chiefs are a true dynasty at this point with the best coach and best QB.

I'd say you're overreacting but if you look at our playoff history since 2011 it's brutal. Getting so close and finding the most heart breaking ways to lose.
We're now at 7 losses in the SB or conference finals with 6 of them being decided on the final drive. The 7th we had a rb playing qb due to injuries. I remember as kid just think winning the Super Bowl was automatic.
