Hear me out. Wilks is gone. I'm not going to blame him for the Super Bowl, but clearly him and Kyle are not on the same page. When the offensive coach has to over ride your defensive calls, which in essence means you don't know how to call the right defense in certain situations, I just can't imagine him returning next year.
Now Belichick is a SB winning head coach. And the chances of him downgrading himself to a coordinator position are slim to none. But remember this is the guy that trades us Jimmy for pennies so there is some connection there. He doesn't have a job for the next year. Why not push for him hard to bring his coaching staff here for a year or two or until he gets his HC gig. Then once he leaves we can promote one of his guys to DC and now we have a great coaching unit in place for years.
Maybe just because he's free he might just agree so he has something to do next year. And we know Kyle and Lynch are aggressive with these matters.
What say you ?

Maybe we can get Kelce too. That way Kittle can block and we have a tight end that can get open

I'd thought for sure if we land Belichick we'd coax Brady and Gronk out of retirement and join our team too.

I laughed at this a month ago, but who knows now.
I'm shocked that Bill didn't get a HC job and basically it's over now unless a surprise firing happening.
Reports are that Bill is still asking for full control and that's what is turning teams off.
There's no salary cap for coaches, we need to at least try for it and give him a blank check

He might do it for a ring and no other team outside of KC gives him that. Unless you think he would rather want to sit on his rear and watch football on TV next year.

Bring in " THE CHEAT " ... then I'd love to watch him just take over the team and punch (Buddy Ryan) out KYLE and his dumb playing calling and take over the team while KYLE just sits on the sideline w/a concussion looking like dumb HC

They might be able to get him as a consultant. Never as DC though.

Lol. He wouldn't have to. Dude coached twenty years in Boston.
That said, this is a pipe dream to me. Would without question welcome it.
