Burford sucks and Feliciano got hurt
McKivitz and Moore are backup quality
Banks we may not be able to afford with a good contract year
This is more than half our line we'll need to replace between now and 2026.
Deebo will be too expensive by the end of next season. Kittle is getting banged up all the time. AA may retire but if not we have to do a short extension to prevent his cap number from ballooning. Hufanga will need an extension, Purdy as well after next season.
I couldn't agree more on all your points.
No team hits all their draft picks every year, but this year is one year that a high level of success will determine whether our franchise quarterback will have a chance for a ring anytime soon or not. We just cannot afford to see jailbreaks consistently coming through the right side of the OL like they did in the playoffs, KC in particular.
Keeping Kittle healthy will depend to a large degree on how well the RT plays. George takes a pounding having to take on DEs because McKivitz can't handle them on his own. I also hope Latu can justify his draft pick with a full off-season of work.
Though we have a mostly veteran team, it isn't like they are all over 30. In looking over the roster, there is still a lot of quality in the 26-29 year range. The key, as always is, staying healthy. If we can do that, the arrow is still up.
