The '91-'94 Bills under Marv Levy and Jim Kelly lost 4 consecutive Super Bowls and was known as the team that couldn't win the big one. We're starting to see a parallel with the '19-'23 49ers that appeared in 2 Super Bowls under the Kyle and Lynch and lost both SBs. The '93-'94 Bills lost to the Cowboys in two consecutive Super Bowls. The '19 and '23 49ers lost to the Chiefs in both Super Bowls. Although the '93-'94 SBs weren't really close whereas the '19 and '23 SBs were both close games. I hope Kyle and Lynch will win one soon and not go down in history as the team that can't win the big one.

Unless Burrow and Allen level up, one thing is certain, if we make it out of the NFC again we have to find a way to run right through that Kermit the frog sounding mfer

Toss in 2012 as well.
49ers are getting a reputation for not being able to finish the job. We are certainly making up for 5-0

We are the Bills. Best in the NFC is all we can hope for. In recent Superbowl history the 49ers always find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Only way to make it up is to go 5-0 in the 5 super bowls for the 49ers and all of us alive today need to witness at least three of them!

I think KC is overhyped. They were not a great team yesterday. They were clutch bc they have Mahomes. We could have easily put this away if not for penalties turnovers and stupid offensive play calls. Kyle played cute ball and it cost us specifically in the 3rd.

Kyle can't close. It's his MO and it's the story on front page of every media outlet today. No one is blaming the team. Not even a lot of ppl are giving credit to KC on NFLN ESPN OR FS. Everyone is talking about Kyle's inability to finish when he has 10 point leads…

You know
what the bills did even getting to four straight super bowls is one of the most underrated accomplishments in NFL history.

Other than the first SB that they lost on a missed FG to the same Giants team that knocked out the 49ers, the Bills were thoroughly dominated in each of their next 3 SB's. They were just the best of a really bad AFC at the time.
The 49ers just have to keep knocking, keep building the roster, if Purdy does turn out to be a top franchise QB then they'll be in the running for a long time to come but the first order of business has to be to upgrade the secondary and the protection for Purdy upfront. They've neglected both those areas and its largely why they've lost these two SB's.

Yeah the Bills lost those Super Bowls
because the redskins weren't losing that year. They were awesome. And the Cowboys may have had one of the best teams in history back to back years

We are being punished by the football Gods. Once we were the dominant force. That just walked in to Super Bowl games. You knew we were going to win. Now we are the cannon fodder. The Super Bowl record is evening out. I can't see the Yorks or Shanahan winning the big one. That will be the day. It's tough lately to be a fan. Always so close and in your heart you know they won't really do it in the end. If you are honest at least.

That's the scary thing about KC. They can sleepwalk to another 5-6 championships over the next 10 years because they got Mahomes. They don't have to be a great team. They just need to get into the playoffs and win 4 games. They'll do it again several more times, I guarantee it. 10-11 win seasons, SB winners. Easy.
If I'm Josh Allen or Joe Burrow I'm begging to be traded to the NFC.
