No they can't. Because they don't have dopey play callers like Kyle. Why does Mahomes always beat up on Herbert ? Because Herbert had a bad coach that didnt know how to manage games. Mahomes has to deal with Tua, Allen, Lamar, Rodgers, Burrow, Rodgers, Stroud, and maybe even Watson if he starts to play like his former self. Then he has defense led by Saleh, Demeco, and whoever leads the Browns, Ravens, etc to deal with.

I think KC dynasty has run its course. I don't think they'll be back in the SB anytime soon…

The one big time variable is I do think next season could be Reid's last.

As long as KC have Mahomes, they are good to go and can win from anywhere with randoms at WR however,

KC will draft a wide receiver in both the first and second rounds and if they are any good, Kansas City will only get better next year.

Go look at their list of free agents, its a quarter of the roster and includes Chris Jones and Snead. They also have to extend a lot of other people as well.

The one guy they absolutely cannot afford to lose other than Mahomes but probably will is Jones. His agents are reportedly looking for $30+ mil a year with most of it guaranteed.

Wilks has a potato for a brain. He is their best defensive player and he was unblocked to the quarterback at least 6 times in the second half.

How Wilks was not fired at the end of the game is mind boggling.

Wilks had nothing to do with it. But Kyle for sure. One, you've seen this play out before — 4 years ago actually. Two you've dealt with disruptive guys like Watts and Parsons and Hutchinson this season. So the concept shouldn't be new for you.

The crazy part is they played hard ball with him and he held out this year to start because they didn't want to pay him top $ on a multi year deal.
