Sorry, they absolutely go for it on the 4th and 1. We know this because they said they would have gone for two had the 9ers scored 7 on the opening OT possession. This is the same decision making as going for it on 4th and 1 instead of punting. KC was committed to winning the game with their offense in OT, not putting the ball in Purdy's hands to drive the field for a GW FG try. Arguably, going for two on the second possession TD would be riskier than going for 4th and 1 on an initial possession, and they've signaled that's what they would have done, so there's your evidence.
