Not unless the Browns up and fire him.

I'm guessing someone made calls to Lynch or Shanny that they wanted to come here.
Yesterday at the press conference not even a hint of this, now suddenly Wilks in gone.

i would guess it's a big name and late last night Shanny had to come up with the plan for dismissal. If you can make the team better with a great HC you do it. That's the business of winning.
Yeah, won't be surprised. Loaded team and it will be great for their HC resume if they help us get #6. I just want that attacking style who has some experience. How about that KC assistant Merritt?
Chris Harris
Rex Ryan seems ready to return.

Thing here is I don't know if Kyle will hire an ex HC.
I would pass on Rex

Wilks was an ex HC, though not successful.

Kyle's job is beyond secure. Hiring with the thought that he could be eventually replaced by the guy would be a bottom level concern, if one at all.

I didn't realize Brandon Staley was available. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being the guy. He runs a scheme that Shanahan originally wanted when he was first hired.
which one?

I was actually meaning since he fired Wilks and he was an ex HC. I meant I don't know if Kyle could co exist. But Anthony Lynn is a good example.

I don't know about Staley he didn't impress me has an HC. And what was the 49ers record against him while he was Rams DC.

Im guessing they have a clear candidate in mind but will need to do some interviews. I think Rivera is a good option but wouldn't be surprised if it was some obscure assistant from the Baltimore, KC, Cleveland or even Houston defensive staffs.

One name I'll throw out there is Brandon Lynch, the CB coach of the Browns. He's a former NFL player, has been coaching for over a decade between college and the NFL and already had a few DC interviews. He's a pretty intense dude that is more on the level of coaches like Saleh and Ryans in terms of his demeanor.
no, thanks if he still is a waterboy (basically)

Staley has worked w/ Fangio in the past.

He was so bad as a HC it would scare the s**t out me… even knowing he had success as a DC. I believe that was basically one year anyway.

Just from the outside perspective he seems like such a complete jackass.
