49ers DC Nick Sorensen

From Kyle's response about him, it seems like he might be bringing him back next year.

I think our bigger issue is talent and availability. The dc may be garbage but our dl and lb play was horrible. We need to restock with some young healthy dogs.

Hopefully he learns from this season. Left a lot to be desired

Yeah get him some help up front and let's see. I'm not totally against him personally.

Nick is gonna be here for a while Kyle will not fire him. He stuck with Salah while he went through his growing pains and he will stick with Nick. For the talent he had on the field I think he did pretty good.

Even if we bring in an outsider, the chances to go back to a dominate defense is slim. As the new coach will need to figure what they have. Sorensen/Staley already know who and where to upgrade.

I don't like Kyle's recent comments about Sorensen. It means he is probally not going to be replaced.

Demeco "struggled" for like 5 games. Sorensen is completely inept/terrible. Not once this season did I say wow, incredible coaching job by Sorensen.

The 2 best defensive games were pats & bears when we were facing complete idiots at QB. When your players are always confused (and ours were) that is coaching. 100% coaching when guys are confused about switches and what their responsibilities are

Because the odds are that they would stay with the team they are now with or want to be a HC

the guys who would mostly come over would be an up and coming position coach who will need to learn on the fly

Just let Staley call the D. If he has talent he's very very good. We got some talent on D. Just demote Sorensen dammit!!!

The only impediment to getting Saleh is demoting or firing Sorensen.
