To be honest Sorenson and the defense did a pretty good job last night. Missed FG and int's hurt this team last night.

They were playing a top 2 offense in the league. I just don't think they did a bad job, do you think they could have won without those mistakes? I'm not advocating for him to keep his job that will be up to Kyle.

The 49ers didn't punt either.
TBH those TO's were really nothing special by the Detroit D Brock just didn't see Joseph.

There were multiple blown coverages last night. That shouldn't happen to a serious football team, especially in week 17. That speaks to a coaching issue.

beyond the coaching issue, the organization needs to evaluate their overall defensive philosophy in the offseason. The wide 9 is outdated. Teams are using heavier personnel and running the football more effectively. You cannot be small on the interior. You cannot see a weak edge. You cannot be in Nickel in 11 personnel.

John Lynch has a lot of work to do.
I didn't like hearing Aikman say Kyle mentioned how important Greenlaw is to his defense scheme. Kyle sounds locked into this defensive scheme for whatever reason.

They blew coverages and tackles all over the field. Not once did they confuse the Lion. They didnt force a single punt or takeaway. They were ass.

The ints can be bad and the defense can be too. Both can be true.

This

Again not advocating for Nick to keep his job just trying to exhaust all avenues but there are two rookies starting in the secondary Mustapha and Greene and not mention Brown , that may account for some of the blown coverage assignments and some of those were just Yaddam getting beat what seemed like every play. And Saleh was terrible also when he first tried his hand at the DC spot.

Agreed. Basic and vanilla is the best way to describe this scheme right now.

This f**ker get fired yet. If not he needs to quit and go surfing instead.
The Lions scored 40 or more 6 times this year. Twice over 50. Nobody is stopping them or confusing them. If they weren't so beat up on defense they would be the favorites to make the SB and possibly win it.

The lions blew multiple coverages too.
Sometimes that happens in games against top offensive minds.
