he was a joke as the Jets HC and the D got way worse when he took over

Kinda difficult position for the defense when their offense sucked so bad and left them out go get murdered.

Some guys just do better when all they have to focus on is the defensive unit.
once there in charge of the whole team they crumble.

Oh that's another place!!! Yah I don't see Saleh going back to SF, he just went there to get his start as DC.

Like I said, I don't get the hype with Ulbrich. He's never called a top defense and his approach to playcalling reminds me a lot of Greg Manusky.

The offense was not the problem this season. It was the defense and special teams. Now was the offense great for our standards? no but I believe it was still a top 10 offense despite all the injuries. And if you have a top 10 offense you should be able to compete.

Sorensen might eventually be OK but you can't honestly say there aren't upgrades that'll be available.

We had historically bad defense under him in several areas. Consecutive red zone TD allowed and tied franchise record for rush TD allowed.

You can't have that with a unit that has multiple pro bowlers and keep your job.
