His D gave up 45 points to the Giants

I haven't heard his name in like 5 years so I had no idea if he was still good or not

per the colts he's no good anymore

This is why Shanahan must make a decision now on Sorensen. Teams like Bengals and Colts and teams that will.bring entire new head coaches will be looking for DCs. He sits on his ass, he will settle for Brandon Staley.

Eh, not really.

1. Ulbrich is still with the Jets until they fire him

2. Many of the better DC candidates are in the playoffs and can't be interviewed/ hired quickly.

3. We're talking a few days past the season, not weeks, for this decision to keep or fire Sorensen to be made. We should know his status by Friday at the latest.

I'm sure that conversations with Saleh are taking place to gauge his interest. That's one reason why Shanahan will hold off on discussing the offseason until later in the week.
I still wonder about Sherm. Maybe an open mind. The guy is brilliant. We need fresh and new not these cast-off retreads.

Its almost harder filling Cordinator jobs then Coach.
No Sherm..emotionally unstable at times sorry not sorry

Sherman would be a good addition to the defensive coaching staff, but going straight to DC may be a bit much.

Agree on that. Assistant secondary coach or CB coach might be best bet.

I love Sherman and would be stoked to see him join our coaching staff in some capacity, but no way he leaves his media gigs. Between Amazon and his podcast, he has a good thing going on.

why, he's a guy who knows where everyone should be. He probably could handle it

Foot in the door like KJ Wright.
Go watch John Chapman's video to show how Nick Sorenson is pretty much clueless .... by doing things like staying in Nickle and asking DBs to take on Offensive Lineman when the bills are brining in extra lineman.

Also I don't care how bad your personel is ..... the stat that teams had scored 14 times in a row in the redzone .... you just can't overlook that

Secondary could definitely improve under Sherm...even if NS stayed (fired tonight I hope), I'd still feel good about the DBs doing their job
