Yeah enough with the personal attacks. Lots of folks need to dial it back. If what someone is saying has you incensed that you can't help but lash out try using the hide post feature or just log off for awhile.

At one point you can't keep non stop spamming in 10+ different threads, the same exact point, and make it all rage bait posts. FOR 3 WEEKS STRAIGHT....

LOL. Nobody has more personal attacks than you. Daily.

Anyway, in what ways do we think Staley can help?

Too many cooks spoiling the broth. I don't like it. Totally unnecessary hire.

Agree he needs some new ideas and assistance with game planning like McDaniels. He gets stuck in groves and it costs him against great defenses.

We call that the offensive line. Most of their offensive struggles in the past few years all come down to the same thing, struggles with the OL and inability to hold blocks when they really need them.

That's the biggest area I'm looking to see some sort of evolution in approach from Shanahan. They largely lost two SB's because they couldn't block Chris Jones. I want to see a greater commitment to building the OL now that they have a QB that they actually seem to trust and the gameplan doesn't have to be geared towards "protect the QB from himself" the way it was in previous years.

Facts.

What we do with this unit will tell us everything we need to know about our expectations this year.

Naah. I think it makes a good storyline because they dont get any touchdowns, rushing yards, catches, INTs, or sacks,....so they're a convenient "out" to vent your frustration on.

When you actually look at the complete games as the year ended, not being able to block Chris Jones all game is NOT what the reason we lost 2 SBs.

He's a great player, as is Patrick Mahomes (remember that guy?). And you're not just going to cancel them out by having Green Bay offensive linemen. I mean how the heck does our OLine even relate to a young HOFer like Patrick Mahomes,...and how in the world do you leave him out of the equation of "why we loss" both games? Lala Land.

Our OL opened the game dominating Chris Jones and Co. actually,...but another great player, fumbled the ball in the process. How does he get a pass?

The psychological truth is you ENJOYED many of the plays he made all year as the camera focused on him instead of the boring OL game after game. Therefore, he is untouchable in your mind regardless what he does in the SB. (I'm having Jimmy flashbacks)

"With the way he fumbled the ball carelessly on the big stage at the wrong time, if we just had another RB in there to protect the ball,...we have the Lombardi at our place this year." --see how easy this hindsight game is?

This quick and easy OL fix and we have 2 championships is -- again -- a convenient punching bag. And since we're not concerned about what really happened, you'll again end up frustrated with them if we're not the 1 team out of 32 that bring it home.

Basically…

"THANKSGIVING, 2009…

" Four in a row? No boy is capable of that, bro, but maybe you are! Show me how you're going to make your big pistol shoot twice more tonight! ", Ruiz dares Eddie. After all this intense physical effort, Eddie feels like he needs a bit of a rest. So he lays down on his back as Ruiz straddles his fighting hole, a large grin crossing his gravy-coated crayon feasting face. " Let's see how long these fools can last with me riding them intensely! ". With that, he pushes himself down slowly on the curtainrods, impaling himself like a torturee on a giant pillar of iron. From this angle, rangecoach Cabelin can see how his shaft can literally push itself a whole furlong inside on the downstrokes and matriculate out several inches on the upstrokes with each shot of hot lead. Ruiz's cantelopes are swaying in his face with the wind as he checks which way the breeze blows, so he doesn't miss twice the opportunity to munch on them. Eddie is slumbering away, Ruiz s riding them like a bull and ever louder moans are filling the room as he thinks of her. 'Thank God Ms. Kate Machoca isn't around tonight!' She had a sleepover at a friend's house. We must say that her threat to make Ruiz shoot faster was very well founded. After barely fifteen minutes, he can feel a huge ball tighten around the barrel as he fills his gun's insides with spray after spray of thick CLP! Despite it being his fourth time cleaning his weapon, he can still managed to fieldstrip over a dozen huge wads of one-dollar bills! The final wads of cash are the most painful, as his fingers are sucked dry of their essence by another Machoca, that will NOT be bribed at the armoury. Luckily, he can reload a 9mm in record time since his ball-type ammunition is not only huge, but also produce death hundreds of time faster than an average handgrenade from Antioch! 'Rrrrah!!!"

Amen.

Same number of cooks as previously. Sorensen replaces Wilks. Staley replaces Lynn. And a whole bundle of junior coaching staff and Front Office staff have been poached and need to be replaced.

So Wilks just sat there in meetings all week and waited until the SB to call plays. Ok, podcaster guy. (not you NY).

I don't listen to Joe blow pods. I don't know why chris biderman or kyle Posey's pods keep popping in my head…it's cool if you don't believe me. I'm not lying about it. It also doesn't mean what they said is true.

we do know Wilks' game plan vs Seattle got overwritten by Kyle and our DB coach. Ward talked about it. There were multiple points throughout the season when we saw WTF moments from him and it was coming to an end regardless of what happened in the SB. It's not shocking to believe Kyle had more faith in his internal guys to formulate a game plan vs Wilks….im sure Wilks wasn't just sitting in the corner, but he probably didn't have the type of authority most DC's have with all that.

I don't doubt that you heard it. I doubt your source, a podcaster, knowing the specific coaches that were involved in the gameplanning for the SB. The statement I am doubting is from this post:

which of your podcasters would be privy to this information a few days after the SB? All good if you don't know. I'm just skeptical that this info got leaked out to a podcaster.

LOL Sorensen... Staley, two Bay Area fan favorites who lost the "big ones".

These decisions were ultimately sort of tied to the last draft board connected to Adam Peters/Joey Bosa. This is either a "Hitler in Spring" season for Shanahan, or we're eclipsing the '18 Patriots. Whatever the moon should decide I reckon...

What the f**k are you talking about and who the f**k is that hockey player da f**k does he have to do with anything?

Exactly. Everyone celebrating like we got our top choice SB here we come. They skipped Sorensen last year, then went after all their top candidates before settling on him. Not inspiring at all. And obviously Staley didn't blow them away with his interview, but they thought let's just add him to the mix for no reason.

Its a s**t show all around, but fans think this was a great achievement

I told you I heard it as scuttlebutt on a pod. If I had the exact timeline I'd gladly share it.

it's funny I posted the same thing right after I heard it and not a single person was questioning it. Wish I would have had it cited…sorry I don't.

You know me, I'm usually pretty good with supplying info to back up stuff…Didn't this time and any good faith I've built up in here is gone lol. It's fine if you doubt it.

Whatever I'm moving on.

It takes more than "trust me bro" for me to believe things that seem privy only to coaches in the meeting room. It's too bad you don't remember but my guess is whichever podcaster you heard it from was speaking out their ass. I mean seriously, which podcaster would know this type of specific information about how it was Sorenson doing the gameplan and not Wilks?

btw, I don't mean you're the one saying "trust me bro", I'm saying this about the podcaster.

I'll assume he will help with defensive gameplanning as well as taking some responsibilities away from Kyle. Hopefully giving KS more time to focus on offense. I'm assuming thats what Lynn did except he helped with the run game versus defense.
