I'll reserve judgment until more starters return from injury.
Scheme hasn't been our issue on D. We just have some certain players failing to execute
Today was much better but next week will show me a lot more. Patriots have the worst line in the NFL and are riddled with injuries.

They just don't have much talent on, mainly on offense.
Can't believe I'm saying this… but I think we need to root hard for the Jets to finish with a losing record (except when they play our division rivals of course).

Saleh could be our long-term Spags if he gets fired. I feel like Brandon Staley was supposed to be that guy that nobody would want as HC while he's our DC that we had in mind when we fired Wilks… but when we interviewed him we found out thete were too many differences to actually make him DC so we settled on Sorensen.

You are correct players haven't played well. But the scheme has been an issue as well. Going to have to keep that outside contain to keep mighty mouse in the pocket this week.

I wish they would snag somebody from the Baltimore defensive style of coaching. I'd like our defense to be more aggressive like how the Ravens and Seachickens play.

Scheme may not be an issue, but showing our cards pre-snap every play certainly is. We disguised it a bit this week.

You can't tell me the DC and scheme haven't been the issue when he has Bosa dropping into coverage. smh
A big improvement from Sorenson, that's what we needed to see. Very encouraging. Let's hope he keeps it up

Right. Him and Floyd were dropping into coverage way too much. This week they were doing what they were supposed too. Can't just sit back and just keep rushing 4 all the time. Look at Fangio with the Eagles.

It seems like because of Wilks, Sorensen is afraid to blitz or get creative. IMO, yesterday was more about how the players dominated than Sorensen as a play caller. Warners pick 6 was more about him diagnosing the play than Sorensen calling the play. Same with Bosa's, strip-sack and fumble recovery, more about Bosa than Sorensen. I just don't see Sorensen as the answer or getting more creative as a play caller, I hope Shanahan makes another change.

They blitzed some yesterday but it was probably because they knew Brissett has nobody to throw to.

I'd be happy to get Saleh back and maybe Ulbrich as an assistant. But yeah someone from those teams, or if Brian Flores has a mentee. The whole league is copying our offence and he gives our offence fits.
