Because we like to think we're elite because we have star players everywhere and just waiting for some thing to happen. The reality is that this defense is so unclutch it's not even funny. Such a short week to put this loss behind us and expect hope on Thursday. I don't think thats gonna happen this week.

I'm starting to think firing Wilks was the bad move and trying to see if a 2nd year under the D could have been better. Couldn't have been any worse than the D now under Sorenson. We are 5 weeks in, and I think it was around this time when Shanny had a chat with Wilks and he starting coaching from the sideline. I think its time for Shanny to have that same conversation with Sorenson and change something up.

Thats the word. Unclutch. Just destroy and rebuild this thing. Screw bringing in the high priced vets. Treat this like it's 2017 again and we are creating a new system. Or snag Ulbrich and Saleh if they are let go.

This defense is just like last year. They don't stop teams, they just do enough and wait until teams make mistakes. If teams don't make mistakes they score.

Bosa and a few others have awesome plays in the first half. Everyone's laughing and smiling like we're back in the SB. But NOTHING in the 4th quarter. Just flying by Stafford like he's a matador and forget trying to grapple Kyler Murphy. And yes the D was bad throughout against Minnesota. No 4th quarter closing plays AT ALL

On a side note, what a time to not bring up Evan Anderson when James Connor was just bulldozing this weak ass defense. TY McGill is good for nothing, Anderson would've been more effective today.

I'm really not liking the decisions by Shanahan and his coaching staff this year. f**kin weak ass team.

Which will be the downfall this year and it's already showing. Won't matter if we get CMC back.

I really miss having arik and Buckner in the middle. They need to try and get back some kind of combo like that next year.

I don't Sorensen is going to cut it. Defense is trash.
