If he wants another shot at HC he'll likely need to be a DC again. Even if he can come in as another defensive assistant that would help. I wouldn't be surprised if he just hangs out at home the rest of the season though.

For reals, Sorensen was a former ST coach, better off to replace Schneider. Not sure why we was consider as DC

Can anyone think of a coach getting fired mid season and then becoming a coordinator elsewhere? Seems real unlikely to me.
