It is the definitely the biggest concern. Hopefully if we can get healthy in the secondary, there is some combination that will work well for us. Maybe there is, maybe there isn't. Mustapha showed promise. Hopefully he is the answer but if he is not then when we get Huff back we can try turning to him. Green wasn't to bad at corner last night either. So hopefully there is a good defense on this roster somewhere and we just need to get healthy and figure out the combination that works.
it's actually getting clearer and clearer..
our D can hang w/the MEDIOCRE team around the NFL !!
I feel like the players have lost alot of hustle & energy when playing. Hopefully bringing Saleh back can at least fix that, the awful tackling, among other things.....

Happened again today. Good thing Mahomes overthrew it
Sorensen is nothing more than a puppet yes man for Kyle just like Lynch. Kyle likes to be in complete control, and doesnt want any outsiders taking credit away from him.
Total defense - #14
Rush yards per play - #10
Rush TD allowed - #30
Passing yards per play - #14
Passer rating allowed - #4
PPG - #14
Third down defense - #27
Fourth down defense - #16
Takeaways - tied #4
Sacks - tied #14
Penalties - tied #5
Red zone defense - #22
These stats seem very accurate for what I've seen. We do pretty well in a lot of areas, but we struggle mightily in pressure spots when we need a stop. Third and fourth down and red zone issues are the most glaring, where we're bottom half to bottom third of the league.
It could be that that's where Sorensen's inexperience + having lots of injuries and several rookies play, along with a couple inferior players out there with Brown & Campbell, is causing us from being as good as we could be. Those two guys are getting exposed a lot in key situations.
I don't think Nick is a bad DC at this point. He's doing pretty well considering what he's been given to work with, and I have to be fair in understanding that he's learning too, like Ryans had to.
