Why are we ignoring the fact that the Offense failed to close out the game after the D made the stop on 4th down?

I think the offense has more blame than the D to be honest.

That's not even including the near meltdown against the Cowboys where they allowed back to back 70 yard TD drives in the 4th where they allowed CeeDee Lamb to torch them in both drives.

do you expect defenses to make a stop on each drive ?
this defense is already meh and its best player (arguably, maybe it's Fred) being out

this defense allowed 289 yards of offense and two touchdown drives, with one of the two FGs coming after making a defensive stance after a Brock pick

this game is not on defense

Yeah tbh I blame the offense on this one, not the defense. Nobody planned on losing all world Bosa. He was the difference on defense. Overall they did well and dare I say have been improving pretty well week by week. I cannot say the same for the offense and lets not even talk about ST lol

Mediocre at best. I think the two young guys Andersen and Davis have improved a bit.

The defense actually looked pretty good yesterday. They stopped seattle on 3rd and short and 4th and short. Seattle never should have gotten the ball back.

The defense was playing well until Bosa went out. Without the added pressure Smith was able to get enough time to find some open receivers. The offense was putrid. They never got going.
