Probably a lot. From those Super Bowl teams most of the players left under bad circumstances or turned out to be total scum.

Earl Thomas chose both options.
Now sign DUI Sherman to coach the DBs

I checked out one of their forums, and they're not exactly falling apart yet. Well, at least not enough for my taste.

Successful LB turned into a young assistant coach.

Worked before so why not.

Twitter got more hate and nonsense about it I'm sure of it

Some poster name KinesProf (pg 2 post 34)... actually opposite of falling apart and really level headed (was surprised by comment)

Found this (pg 1 post 11) and wasn't aware this happened, "Interesting, since KJ earlier turned down a coaching job with Pete when he retired."
I like the idea of an LB with recent experience in the league. The game is changing and playing experience with these recent changes will be a good platform to train young linebackers. Wright seems to check all the boxes to follow the path of Ryans.

It will be interesting to see what kind of career progression K.J. has. For instance, if the defense and the linebackers have a great year, will he be promoted to ILB coach like DeMeco was after a year as Defensive Quality Control Coach?

The mature and business person in me doesn't care where an ex-player ends up. If Patrick Willis got hired to be the LB coach of th Cowboys I wouldn't be like HOW COULD HE! Of course I would still hate the cowboys and root against them all the same. I understand that some of these players retire and have aspirations to be a coordinator and HC eventually. Coordinator and position jobs are few and far between so if you get offered one, you should take it. Those who are angry where ex-players end up need to stop being 15 years old

LOVE this move. Keeping smart people in the room and hopefully a future DC in training. Hoping we can get Verrett in as a coach as well.

This
Great hire...we need more assistants since we get poached every year. Continuity was the difference in the super bowl
I like this hire. With Greenlaw down for a while it means Dee Williams and Jalen Graham will have a chance to get a longer look so why not bring in a guy who was an impact player to help get them ready. Linebacker play is a big part of this defense so you have to keep developing talent behind the starters who will inevitably become a victim of age or the cap.

This hire is more exciting than both Sorensen and Staley's signings.

Wait until this dude stands next to Fred, Greenlaw, Winters and Graham on the practice field. He's going to make them all look small. KJ Wright was a massive dude for a WLB in this scheme. I don't think any of the Seattle defense offshoots have ever had a LB as big as KJ Wright.
