Let's play: Who should we trade/release

Just playing arm chair GM here. I know we'd take some major cap hits with some of these guys. But I would definitely look to start the retooling process now than a total blow up in 2 years.
Juice is the only one on the list that wouldn't be moronic.

If we have to play, it's gotta be AA and Deebo. Two players past their peak skill set and constantly plagued by chronic injuries.

True but its not REALLY that much savings, so I rather keep him. Plus he's been one of the healthiest 49ers since the Shanahan era started. Armstead is one I would cut or trade but his cap hit is too high.
Juice and it's not even close
None cause it's not needed just showed how we can keep our core together while adding 1 splash signing, & not be in cap hell, it's on my site 49erscap.com
Armstead or Deebo.

Better a year too early, than a year too late. Although you could probably argue we are late on both. For example, I doubt we get a 1st for Deebo today.
It's funny how a majority were pissed about the Deebo Situation 2 years ago saying pay him he won those playoff games and now those same are turning their backs on him. This ONLINE fan base is the worst. I never see this at live games or the sports bars.
Trade none.

AA is the one player who you MIGHT be able to justify letting go a year too early rather than a year too late because of his lower extremity injuries, but he's too good a player to walk for nothing, and you don't save any money trading him this year.

Deebo only if forced to pick between him and Aiyuk at gun point.

Yep. Next year the situation will likely be different but for now, full steam ahead.

Agreed but "no one on the list" isn't an option and it doesn't say "with no cap hit" so AA would be stupid.
I could see Armstead if we get a good DT so that we eat dead cap this year but free it up next year. I don't see the point in getting rid of Deebo this year unless you get a 2nd.

Give it one year with the main guys. I think between 2025 and 2026 Kittle, Armstead, Deebo, Juice, Hargrave and Williams will all be gone.

Why won't they save money if they trade AA this year? He has a cap hit of over $28 million. If they release him they don't save anything but if he's traded the new team takes on most of the salary.
