Where are you getting garbage against the run? That's just not true

Completely agree with his take. I'm sure he'll be labeled a troll, hater, etc by some. But he's absolutely spot on with his assessment…

It's hard when he implies that he doesn't understand the 49ers cap situation and also says stupid s**t like last years Bills' had no pass rush. Subject of the entire article is that 49ers defense looks markedly worse than last year and will not be a top 5 defense again (which they were not last year in the first place).
We arguably could have made one premier signing after seeing the initial market or we could do what we have done (add depth mainly). Either way, it's pretty hamfisted to draw conclusions before we have the draft and free agency is completed.

Please. Floyd was a great signing

Right? It's March 12th lol whole lot of s**t can happen and still can in FA
Jordan Elliott is an Excellent Pickup by @JohnLynch49ers. Elliott is strong vs the run and has really quick feet as well and could really develop as a pass rusher in the years ahead. pic.twitter.com/ACqxgE8JrQ

i think the Floyd signing will be nice and consistent, sometbing we sorely lacked opposite of bosa. I think he will improve our run D too. I think Elliot was a solid depth signing with good upside for the pass rush potential.Jordan Elliott is an Excellent Pickup by @JohnLynch49ers. like you said, everything has just begun. Idk why people are trippin - i think some forget about our last draft too, tons of talented guys who shoild contribute.and make good jumps in production. I really like our young linebackers.
So much more to come. Lol people need to chill. I think we will see armstead kept too with a reworked contract. The odds of us keeping armstead go up the longer we keep him because teams are running out of big cash to dole out to him as time goes on.

And who said he's getting paid $10M this yr? I wasn't a massive fan of the signing, but it's on par for the contract. I thought they would wait out for Mack/Bosa (guess they still can).
I mean $12M GTD (from what I've read) is pretty good value….Hunter got $48 GTD for the same length of time…Dude basically got a FGTD contract.

I think people want a longterm solution opposite Bosa. A 3 down DE.
