Any update on Floyd & Gross-Matos? Hoping they're ready week 1, if not, I'm guessing they end up elevating 2 edge rushers off of the PS.

Hoping it's only a grade 1:
The recovery time for a sprained medial collateral ligament (MCL) in the NFL depends on the severity of the injury:
Grade 1 (mild): Usually heals in one to three weeks
Grade 2 (moderate): Typically takes four to six weeks to heal with treatment
Grade 3 (severe): Can take six weeks or more to heal with treatment
Torn MCL: May take six to eight months to recover

Same. Just sucks to the nth degree. We can't have nice things lol. Robert Beal will get a lot of work in however.

Can't imagine he would be up walking around and laughing with a grade 3 or grade 2 sprain.

Yannick was first guy I thought of last night when Floyd went down

Weren't there reports out that Gregory was retiring? I agree on Yannick. I've long thought his skillset was a good match for this defense.

Gregory didn't even show up to the Bucs TC and people think there's something mental going on with him. Whatever it is I hope he's ok

Hmmm maybe?
yannick can be the W9 dude. He's pretty pad at setting and edge and we know how much that matters here.
wouldn't be shocked if there's a trade

Oh don't get me wrong I know he's an awful run defender. I meant exactly that. His skill set I've always thought was great for the wide 9 as a pass rusher.
I've felt like for weeks even before the injuries of last night that the niners were going to have to make a move to improve their DE depth.

So they don't know the severity yet? This is why I don't like important starters playing the last preseason game.

Will have very little impact for this team imo, I bet he produces less than Gregory did for us last year.
