He is probably a top 30 edge rusher. Just signed for what is probably a 1 year 12 million dollar deal. Sounds about right to me.

Just so you guys realized Samson Ebukam played 52% of snaps for us in 2022. Floyd played 54% for the Bills. He played 577 snaps last year. That would have been 7th most for us. He'll be on the field plenty.
If we were told that our big free agency signing this offseason would be a samson Ebukam replacement, That's abit disappointing to say the least.

Didn't even know this dude was still in the league. $20 mil?? Seems a bit much for a guy that's arguably as good as Gregory

I feel like 12 million for a dozen sacks is a pretty good deal

It's a 2-year deal worth $23.5M base, source said. Upside to $25M. $12M base in year 1. https://t.co/YDewLHTdmk

Both were drafted in 2016. Gregory has 22 sacks and Floyd has 58. Almost triple the sacks.

He has never had a 12 sack season.

Bryce Huff is a very nice pass-rushing piece for the Eagles... but he is a lighter edge player who can be vulnerable against the run. The 49ers have moved off that prototype in recent years — they like their DEs at 260-plus

Huff is a 3rd specialist though. He blows vs the run. Floyd is actually pretty good there.
I LOVE Bryce Huff... but it's important to know his profile/role usage

He played 44.3% of defensive snaps last year. This is a pass rush specialist. He's played 370 snaps of run defense TOTAL in 4 seasons.
Interested to see his playtime usage/role in Philly. https://t.co/fJ3LbLAytv
but yeah he didn't need to talk about the weight stuff lol.

Gregory never put up numbers like him. He has more production than Gregory consistently over his career. It's not close.
