I will say this. Judging a player on how many sacks he had does not tell the whole story. How many games were the Panthers playing with a lead?
I'm blown away their first 2 moves in FA were DL.

I look forward to the amazing OL we draft this year, starting in 2025.

The draft is well stocked with O linemen this year. And we have plenty of picks. Surely an expert like you knows that you can't make assessments on day 1?

Is DocEll paying attention to what lineman are getting paid this FA? Guys that aren't even regarded as elite guys are getting vastly overpaid.

we had like Javon on Bosa are our only DL left that played meaningful snaps. The draft stinks at DE.

I won't be shocked if they get DJ jones and possibly Bosa when they both get cut…if AA doesn't take a pay cut.
My guess is he will kick inside on obvious passing downs since he has experience moving inside for Carolina. Floyd-Gross-Hargrave-Bosa is a pretty good pass rushing line

I think they hope he can play the Key/Omenihu role

I haven't looked at the cut-FA DT market but there should be a plethora of DT's we could get for cheap. I doubt they are even close to being done. They usually carry 10+ anyhow.

That's what it's looking like. Staley wrinkles too.

It's the Aaron Banks-effect.

By that time we'll have had to pay Brock and we'll have a very young and promising OL.

But I'm sure you know better on this topic. Your track record is stellar.

Like what?

Sorry I didn't cry about not getting Orlando Brown, and didn't think Jimmy is a franchise QB, and made a thread about how the Bears have the blueprint on rebuilds.

Like "good enough."

I didn't think Jimmy was a FQB. The FO did, after a handful of off script games and none within the actual system.

But it became very obvious esp. after the injury, Jimmy, like any classic drop back passer, needed a tier 1 OL just to have a shot. Not rocket science.

LOL. Like I said, Orlando Brown at RT would have moved the needle far more than Hargrave would move the DL.

But ShanaLynch keep trying to win a Superbowl through the DL. A proven losing formula.

Tier 1 QB (HOF/MVP-level) + Tier 1 OL (no lower than high tier 2) is the real proven formula.

But keep towing that company line.
