That's the hope on both, just hook em up with our culture and hope the results are better.

I completely agree with you. Especially because the draft is full of back of rotation DT. Additionally we need spend some resources on offensive line. I just don't understand why they keep ignoring it!!

What offensive line FA are you spending money on? The cupboard is bare. Unless you want to massively overspend on a OG, which is foolish given the draft prospects out there.

Browns had a f**king good D and he was part of it. He's better than Kinlaw

That's a low bar lol

Example: Elliot 5mil/yr, Odom 5 mil, Gross-Matos 9 mil.
19 mil there where you could actually get a stud

It's called a rotation and not just 2 good pass rushers. We need depth, especially if we have injuries and to try and keep our guys fresh for the playoffs.

this guy seems like a good run blocker too, which we desperately need.

Fill in the depth and rotation with draft picks. Those contracts and salaries are way cheaper.
Elliott has always had great hand use and that is how he's made his living for the most part, very violent and powerful hands but other parts of his game leave a lot to be desired. He's someone that in college at least had a tendency to wear out fast and needed to be subbed often.

No matter what you think of PFF, seeing those ratings has got to be a little concerning. That is absolutely terrible

Can't wait for Lombardi's positive spin on this signing.

Dont get me wrong, he's very talented but so far it hasn't come through in the NFL. Maybe he'll turn out to be a late developer.

PFF's rankings are so f**king overrated, dude is a run stuffer, he was a starter on an elite Browns defense, stud DL there, better than Kinlaw. Did you expect them to give Wilkins $27.5M a yr, or give Hunt $20M a yr as a f**king Guard, that's LT money.
Seems like he's just a random DT who the Browns didn't care to lose. Hopefully our team can bring the best out of him but 2y/10M seems like a lot for him.
This seems like a "I'm bored today and need to do something" signing.

You realize that we have no real idea what the deals look like, also Odum is a ST Stud, and what Stud could we get for $19M a yr, Bryce Huff? Don't say Danielle Hunter, he wants apparently $30M a yr, Burns got $30M a yr, Hunt $20M a yr, Wilkins $27.5M a yr, did you expect them to sign a big name just cause the fanbase whines every year about them not signing big names, these teams will regret these deals, don't overpay for the sake of f**king overpaying.

Lynch is big on having a deep DL. He'll basically take anyone.

stud DL is a bit rich. hardly a starter, he had 700 snaps year 3, and 444 in his walk year. He's on the field 42%. Starter in name only. They don't have DTs in CLE so this was a young guy given a chance to nail down a role. He didn't do much with that chance tbh. On the field about the same as Maurice Hurst.

Two reasons. 1) These amounts are "up to $xM" if performance incentives are achieved like starts, production, etc and 2) the NFL salary cap has doubled in the last 10 years ('14 $133M vs '24 $255M) so you are seeing an inflation factor on contracts across high, medium, and low priced deals.

People can just add up "worth up too" contract numbers lol…it's about the GTD cash, not the fluff. For examples Burns got $87.5M GTD. Not a chance in hell all of our FA come anywhere close to that number.

He got worse as his career progressed. Even Kinlaw was starting to get better. Where does Kinlaw rank?
