Hello 49er Fans...I just signed up for this forum...I also signed up for the Rams and Seahawks forums as well...I am a Cardinals Fan and I have been on our Forum for more than 20 years...

I think that the NFC West is the toughest division in the NFL...

I just thought it would be fun to join our NFC opponents forum to gain insight...

Anyways...as far as Dobbs is concerned...he does well and is just an average QB...however...his downside is he can't close games. Should Purdy go down for several plays...then you guys should be fine with Dobbs...but if Purdy was to go down for weeks...he might not be able to close the games you need for the win...

Your team has a much more better team than what we had last season while Dobbs filled in for Murray...so maybe he does not need to close games for you guys to win...
^^^AFC north is the toughest division in the NFL.

WACHA TALKIN ABOUT... Josh " When Dobbs Cry " played last year, I remember him bein impressive... 1st against Dallas when the Cowboys thought they ere invincible, then once again when Josh was w/the Vikings..

some players are just not a PRACTICE TYPE of player.. we've had those over the years..

I saw all the vikings games cause my girlfriend is a huge vikes fan. Josh WAS playing out of his mind till he had that one bad game where he threw a ton of INT's. Since then he has been a dumpster fire.

.. but to consider how he got suddenly traded to the Vikings, had to learn their system and thank goodness he's prolly the smartest guy in the NFL right now, he actually played better than expected.

.. I do like him fore than our 3rd string QB though, and yes, there should be a 3rd string battle year in and year out (IMO)
Dobbs is every bit as capable as that bum Darnold some here crowned as the next Steve Young(slightly exaggerating but not really).

You know only Shanny crowned Darnold as Steve Young... right ??

Tho I would still rather have Darnold over any QB we have as a back up.

I like Dobbs over Allen. I hope Dobb's makes the team.
He was so-so today but definitely showed himself to be a gamer last year
That o-line we put out there today needs some work. Gave up a few sacks

Didn't Dobbs lead the Cards offense on a 99 yard drive against our "vaunted" defense last year ?
Always think it's pointless to say if Purdy goes down for several weeks that the team is screwed. If Mahomes or Josh Allen goes down for 6 weeks both those franchises will lose games

" When DOBBS Cry " will be good for this team.. he's very intelligent and will be a very solid back up who we can trust ..
