Would be nice but I don't think Allen would make it through to the PS. Personally I would keep Mordecai and Dobbs but Brandon Allen is one of those guys who "knows the system" and is a good locker room guy....so I think they'll cut Mordecai and try to get him through waivers to the PS.

Welp with this move..this is the first season in a while I feel comfortable making a playoff run (besides the 2021-22 season)....not being worried if we lost the starter for a few games during the season.. or needing a backup to make a playoff start.

I watched most of his starts and he shows his potential...but eventually he started feeling himself too much and got careless with the ball... but during his play, he made some passes that you wouldn't expect a backup QB to make. I'm sure the coaches will drill into his head where he eff'd up, and he'll look better with us than the Vikes.

Great pickup imo.

My post when we first signed him.. and yup feeling comfortable indeed. Ready for the season.

Great points. I really do think Lance can play like Dobbs, eventually. He just needs some reps like Dobbs got over his career. Love the way Dobbs played yesterday.

I thought Dobbs was impressive in that game

" When DOBBS Cry " will be good for this team.. he's very intelligent and will be a very solid back up who we can trust ..

What did you think of Tanner?

I was thinking the same thing. He definitely can run better than any of the other QBs on the roster. Dobbs is no rookie and maybe his experience is finally paying off.
Looked like a good back up
