The fact that Dobbs is QB3 doesn't mean he'll stay at QB3 the rest of the season. Plenty of time for Dobbs to move up if he proves to Kyle he knows how to operate the offense better than Allen.

I mean there is just no possible way you can watch preseason and think that Dobbs is not #2 QB. You would have to get your eyes checked. I won't even debate this point. It's beyond obvious to anybody with eyes to see.

Purdy is going to be healthy all season, So don't know why people are so worried about who the backup QB is. I think we might be the only fanbase that talks so much about the backup QB position. Maybe PTSD from 2022 I don't know.

We were on QB #5 (CMC) in the playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Not long ago. Shanahan and Lynch don't value offensive line.

I am no coach but yes it does appear that with years in this system BA has a better grasp of how Kyle wants to run this offense but he does not have the wow factor that we all can see with Dobbs. Give it another year in the system and I am certain Dobbs will surpass BA.

The local sports bar I go to for Sunday games has a very passionate Vikings fan. Last season I watched this dude go from the highest highs to the lowest of lows in a matter of games. When Dobbs came in off the bench he was convinced Dobbs was their future franchise QB after 4-6 qtrs of play. It didn't take long for reality to set in.

Then why even bring Doobs in to begin with? There's no way on earth that Allen outplayed Dobbs! NONE! I support Shanny, but he completely wasted Dobbs time. This shows that this was never a real competition. for QB2. If Kyle wanted Allen to be QB2 then he should have never signed Dobbs, because it's clear now that Dobbs never really had a chance for QB2. Like Purdy, the only way Dobbs has a chance getting on the field is via injury. If I were Dobbs I'd demand to be released.

If Allen is QB2 then the local media needs to question Shanny how he came to that decision given that Dobbs clearly outplayed Allen.
